Dear Professor Reed,

I wanted to let you know that I recently passed the Nevada State Bar Exam! This is the third bar exam I have passed using the Reed Bar Review materials and I am now licensed in West Virginia, Indiana, and Nevada. My husband is in the military, so we have moved a lot in the past few years and being able to effectively prepare for the bar exam was incredibly helpful, especially because I was working full-time while preparing for the Indiana and Nevada bar exams. I truly credit the unique approach of the Red Bar Review materials for helping me pass three bar exams on the first try. So thank you for creating such a great system and allowing me to achieve my goals!

All the Best,

Zadora M. Bolin, Esq.

Dear Colonel Reed,

Thanks so much for helping me pass the Texas Bar Exam! It is a big relief, and I was so happy that I am recommending your services to my friends who need help passing the Texas bar exam.

I'm so glad I signed up for the silver course option with Hugh Reed of Reed Bar Review. The personalized tutoring and the consistent razor sharp focus on the MBE really made the difference between success and failure for me. After all, it was incredibly helpful to have my questions and doubts answered and addressed by a real person and to have ample attention addressed towards the MBE, the weakest link in my bar exam performance. The acronyms and mnemonics in the course also condensed the abundant amount of information I had to memorize for the Texas Bar Exam, and I was able to successfully recall these memorized lists if and when they showed up on the real bar exam. Hugh Reed has structured his bar preparation program in a logical and practical way to get you the most points where they matter, which is more important than ever today as bar passage rates have been dropping all over the country. When I passed the Texas Bar Exam, the overall pass rate was only around 47% for that administration. Some of the most conventionally well-known bar preparation programs, in my opinion, are overpriced, overrated, and inadequate for the services they offer you. But Reed Bar Review was worth every penny because it helped get me a law license and I was fairly confident I would pass the exam before I even sat for it.

If you are willing to put in all the work and fight with all you've got to conquer your state's bar exam, I would highly recommend Reed Bar Review to help you achieve your dream of becoming an attorney.

Thanks again for your help! I am so happy that I can move on to the next chapter of my life with the bar exam behind me.

Dear Colonel Reed,

Where do I even start? All my life I’ve never really been the best test taker. So when I received average scores on my SAT and LSAT, and failed the MPRE, I thought I was doomed. But Hugh Reed tutored me through the MPRE, and I passed with flying colors. It was in that moment I knew that the only way I was going to pass the California Bar was to hire Hugh Reed as my tutor. I spoke with him about my fear of failing this examination, and he reassured me that if I simply follow his instructions, I will be just fine. I did every single thing he told me to do, asked a lot of questions, and took in everything he had to teach me. The way he teaches, he really breaks everything down in an understandable manner, and he changed the way I analyzed problems during test taking. Thanks to Hugh Reed, I passed the California Bar on my first attempt! This is not something I ever thought I could accomplish, considering my horrible history with test taking. Hugh Reed is the only reason I can call myself an attorney. I will be forever thankful to Hugh Reed!

Dear Colonel Reed,

After graduating from law school, I followed the “traditional” way of studying for the bar…and signed up for one of the BIG traditional bar review courses. After completing the big box course I was shocked to find I did not pass the bar. Feeling hopeless, I started looking for another method of studying. That’s when I came across Hugh’s program.

MBE (and all multiple choice tests) are the bane of my existence, and is the deciding factor in whether you pass or fail the bar. I didn’t feel like the “Big Box Course” properly prepared me for the MBE. The old saying is true: “One size shoe doesn’t fit all.” Hugh’s course taught me the how to mentally approach the MBE, as well as how to understand and anticipate the questions in a way that I never learned before. The personal attention is critical in this process – this tutoring program makes you accountable and allows your tutor to focus on exactly what you’re missing. The value of what you’re getting for the price of the program is absolutely incredible! I am confident that Reed Bar Review is the reason that I was able to raise my MBE score as much as I did. I strongly encourage others to take the course and dedicate yourself to the process – you will succeed with Reed. He and his staff know exactly what to do to pass the Texas bar exam!!

Dear Colonel Reed,

Words cannot describe the feeling when I learned I passed the Alabama bar exam. I can't thank you enough for Reed Bar Review and your personal guidance and tutoring. I had major concerns heading into bar prep knowing I had to continue working a full-time job and balancing that with studying. Your program helped me stay focused and gave me the tools I needed to pass. Your mnemonics led me down a path to organize vasts amount of law and list it in a clear and concise way. This moment would not be possible without all that you did for me.

I'll never forget finishing the first of 5 MBE practice tests and only scoring an 88. You told me not to freak out, kept me on task, and helped me fine tune my study habits. Your MEE method and constant review of my essays was spot on. I scored a 6 and a couple 5's!

What makes this even sweeter is the fact that all six people in my study group passed...and all of us used Reed Bar Review…all of us were tutored by you. I don't think that is a coincidence. I don’t know of anyone from BSL who completed your Bronze tutoring course who failed!

Thank you for helping me achieve my dream of working in the courtroom!

Dear Colonel Hugh Reed,

I wanted to thank you for giving me the tools I needed to pass the Alabama (UBE) bar exam on the first attempt (with points to spare I might add). As an adult student, who has a family and full time career, law school was a tremendous strain financially and emotionally. Over the past four years I have spent more time with classmates or in a room alone than I have with family. I’ve spent more money on tuition, books, gas and fast food than I have on my children and wife. This made passing the bar on the first attempt even more important. Using your program, I passed the bar and got my family back. I can’t thank you enough.

I used the on-line version of your program. I fact, you gave this format to me at no cost for participating in the student representative program while I was in school. This program gave me great flexibility to study when I had the time and on what subjects I needed extra time with. I did what you asked of us, I: watched the videos; completed the worksheets; went through the outlines; went back over the past 10 years of MEE questions and outlined the issues and rules of law for each; and I did the MBE questions and homework assignments. I followed the program and I passed. I don’t think I need to say anything more!

Finally, the amount of practice and feedback included in this bar prep package also prepared me for the anxiety that accompanies such an important exam that adds pressure by way of time constraints. When I sat for my first official bar exam it was not my first bar exam experience. I cannot stress how important learning to manage your time and stress aid in an examinee’s testing experience. While this was extra work, I would not trade any of my preparations for the feeling of accomplishment of passing the Alabama State Bar on the first attempt. This is especially true in lieu of attending law school, prepping for the bar, and taking the bar while also working full time.

Sincerely,

Joshua Graff

Dear Colonel Hugh Reed,

I wanted to thank you for your tutelage and guidance in preparing for the Alabama Bar Exam that was administered in February of this year. Not only did I manage to pass the exam on my first attempt, but I passed with points to spare. I was one of six in my study group that purchased your Bronze Package and not only did everyone in this group pass, but we all felt very well prepared for the exam.

This program greatly improved my essay skills to the point that they were honed to give the exam graders exactly what they were looking for regarding format, content, and conciseness to fit within the time constraints. The mnemonics learned for the essays also cemented many rules of law that were needed to excel on the MBE section of the exam.

Dear Professor Reed,

Thank you for coaching me through my preparation for the Alabama Bar Exam. Your program allowed me to continue working full time in Hospital Contracting and to continue serving as Director of Internal Communications for a local volunteer organization during my studies. Many fellow students who chose other Bar reviews took significant time away from work and still fell short of passing. Reed Bar Review allowed me to not skip a beat!

You not only taught me the material needed to pass, but the strategy and secrets to passing with ease. The fact that you were available when I had any questions or concerns was such a comfort. I appreciate your honesty and guidance through the program. Taking the Bar exam was an experience I only wanted to go through once and with you as my Coach, my goal was achieved.

Dear Colonel Hugh Reed,

I am so thankful that I chose to take your bar review course. Because of your bar review, I was able to pass the Alabama Bar Exam and the MPRE the first time. I am very thankful for Reed Bar Review and for you as well. Throughout law school I felt as if I struggled in several areas. One of these areas was writing. With your approach, I was able relieve my anxiety about writing. I was finally able to organize my thoughts and properly convey them onto the paper. Additionally, I felt more relaxed when sitting for the MBE portion of the exam thanks to all of the practice questions and tests I was able to access through Reed Bar Review. I was very pleased with my practice scores. Those scores proved to be true when I received my scores from the bar. Thanks to all of your mnemonics and tips, I was able to compartmentalize all of the vast information into an easy to remember format. You were an amazing coach and never gave false hope. You gave the raw truth whether it was pretty or not. Thank you for being honest with me throughout the process so I could focus on the areas that I needed to focus on. Thank you for all of your help. Thank you for helping me pass the bar!

I am currently the Specialty Court Coordinator for Shelby County Community Corrections. I plan to be a criminal defense attorney and thanks to Reed Bar Review, I will have the opportunity to live out my dream. Reed Bar Review worked perfectly with my busy schedule. I worked full-time and I have two young children. Trying to study for the bar was very difficult, but your course made it manageable. I already tell everyone that I know in law school about your bar review and I would be honored to further advocate for you and your course.

Dear Professor Reed,

I took the Texas Bar Exam twice. I passed the second time because of Reeds Bar Review. I signed up for your 3 day & 7 day MBE Boot camp. I also studied your MBE flashcards, MBE concepts & caveats outline, and MBE audios. My MBE score increased dramatically, up to 40 points, during MBE practice exams. In fact, the MBE was actually my favorite portion of the Bar Exam. Reeds MBE practice questions were extremely similar to the actual Bar Exam questions I encountered. I left feeling confident that I did well on the MBE portion. Thank you for creating such an effective program for Bar takers across the nation!

Respectfully,

Dear Colonel Reed,

I am very appreciative of the Reed Bar Review Course. I was able to pass the Alabama Bar Exam the first time with your assistance. Throughout law school, my area of weakness was essay writing. I was very anxious about the MEE section of the exam. It is an understatement to say that I needed assistance in this area. However, with you as my bar coach, you showed me a different approach to essay writing and how to successfully execute that approach. Through your system and guidance, I was able to pass the bar with higher scores than I believed I could ever achieve! And, my MBE score was an astounding 148! Thank you for enabling me to realize my goal of passing the bar!

I am Vice-President of Business Development at Cigna-HealthSpring for the senior segment. Being a licensed attorney is a tremendous benefit in my position. Reed Bar Review was the perfect course for me. Your course design fits perfectly for those of us who have to balance a career, family, and passing the bar. If anyone ever has a question as to strength and results of this program, please send them my direction.

Dear Professor Reed,

Thank you for helping me to pass the Illinois Bar!! Your hands-on coaching, patience in reviewing concepts, and your availability for convenient tutoring sessions made the difference. I was able to understand the Bar tricks and have a strategy for attacking the essays and multiple-choice questions. I felt that after taking multiple practice exams and reviewing the answers, I understood how to quickly eliminate incorrect answers. I was able to attack the questions quickly based on my increased understanding of the legal nuances. I saw my multiple choice score increase substantially and went into the test feeling confident.

The program also helped me to structure my essay responses with a coherent logical analysis to maximize points. I felt very prepared on game day by following Professor Hugh’s methodology.

I would recommend Hugh Reed and the Reed Bar Review to any law students who have any anxiety or do not want a global commercial program. This program helped me to complete my goal of being an attorney.

"...the Colonel was very instrumental in helping me pass this rigorous exam..."

 Phone Number: (903)241-8200

Colonel Reed was a tremendous help to my bar study. Becoming an attorney has always been a dream of mine and it would not have been possible without the Colonel’s help. For those that don’t know, in Texas (where I took the Bar Exam) an applicant is only allowed to take the exam five times. Would you believe that I had to take this exam five times?

Before I enrolled with Reed Bar Review, I took another bar prep course. I won’t name names, but it was the course that most law students take when preparing for the bar. I went to all the seminars, did all the homework, and reviewed/studied on my own every day while preparing for the bar. It still wasn’t enough. After taking it the first time, I scored a 648.

Being a persevering individual, I decided to give it another shot. I used the same bar review course and did basically the same thing in preparing for the exam. My score on the second try was even lower at 633. At this point I was devastated. My score was getting lower and I was heading in the wrong direction. Regardless, I wanted to try again. When I tried to use the bar prep course a third time, I was informed that they would only assist me with bar prep for up to two attempts and that if I wanted their resources and help, I would have to pay a whole new enrollment fee. The same exorbitant fee I paid before signing up with their review course. I was crushed! I felt abandoned. I thought that I was alone and that no one wanted to help me. So then I thought to myself, “I’ve seen the exam, I’ve taken it twice, I know what to expect, I can do this on my own. Piece of cake!” So on my third try, I studied on my own and took the exam. My score from this attempt was the lowest up to this point at 622. This was the moment I knew I needed outside assistance.

Then I found Reed Bar Review. It was highly recommended by former classmates and even a supervising attorney of mine. Colonel Reed reconfigured the way I prepared and studied for the exam. He spoke to me a couple times a week, every week. He was readily available and just a phone call away if I had any questions. I could call him from early in the morning to late in the evening. The Colonel has high expectations and most times it was apparent that I wasn’t doing enough. He pushed me to study harder and smarter but in an encouraging sort of way. After listening to his lectures, doing his practice exams, and organizing the information with his methods, I felt I was more prepared than ever to hurdle the Bar Exam.

I went to take my fourth stab at the exam. When I received my score three months later, I was aggravated to learn that I had scored a 674, one point off from the passing grade of 675 that I needed to become an attorney. Frustrating, I know, but at this time I was pretty used to receiving bad news from the Board of Law Examiners. Yet, I tried to stay positive. I had finally taken a step in the right direction. I almost passed! I went from scoring a 622 to a 674. I knew I could actually succeed if I had just one more shot at it. So I sent in my application to retake the bar exam. Coincidentally it was also the last time I was allowed to take the exam in Texas.

Colonel Reed, being the gracious man he is, stated that he would help me for both my fourth attempt and my fifth attempt. He was a man or his word and continued to coach me through my final try at this very difficult obstacle in my life. We didn’t do anything new the second time around, just a few tweaks in studying here and there. I grinded away leading up to the exam and was able to pass on my fifth and final try! I made a score of 688 and I am relieved to never have to look at this material again. Long story short, the Colonel was very instrumental in helping me pass this rigorous exam. Without his help, I don’t think I would have even come close. There’s an old saying that goes, “you get what you pay for,” and in my humble and honest opinion, he is worth every bit of the cost to secure his services.

Thank you Colonel!

Dear Professor Reed,

Thanks for helping me pass the Texas bar exam. As a repeater, I found it hard to garner the confidence to keep trying. People around me told me to hang it up and to go do something else, that “it wasn’t meant to be”. I almost gave in to the naysayers until I found Reed Bar Review. There was nothing but positivity from you and your staff. It was apparent right away that you wanted to see me succeed. The materials were much more manageable than the other bar review I took, and your one-on-one coaching kept me on track and confident. Now I am happy to say that all the time and money I spent on law school was worth something. There is no way I could have done it without Reed Bar Review. Thanks for not being a naysayer, caring about me, and showing me that it was meant to be.

Dear Professor Reed,

I am eternally grateful for you and all you did for me to help me pass the bar exam. After using a different program twice, and failing twice, I chose to go with Reed Bar Review based on the suggestion from one of my classmates. The difference between the Reed program and other bar prep programs is that Reed’s study program is tailored to each individual. Having the individualized attention I needed, constantly focusing on my opportunities helped me refocus each week; it was the critical factor in order for me to pass. After using the Reed program once, my overall score on the Bar exam increased by 43 points which is just unheard of.

I am so grateful I chose to go with the Reed program rather than others. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who is taking the bar exam and is unsure of what program to use.

I would recommend Reed Bar Review to anyone preparing for the Bar Exam. I used Reed to successfully prepare for the MBE, MEE, and MPT portions of the Uniform Bar Exam. Additionally, I also used Reed for the MPRE. The lectures, and especially the outlines, are concise and to the point. You will not be wasting time with trivial sub-topics that do not equate to many points on the Exam. The course was structured flexibly around my schedule, which I thought was very helpful. The mnemonic devices proved to be an extremely useful tool for tackling both essay and multiple-choice questions. I honestly never used them in general prior to studying for the Bar. However, I found myself able to regurgitate information on easements, hearsay, etc. as I progressed through my Bar prep. The MBE questions, and especially the practice tests under timed conditions, really prepared me for the actual thing. The personal instruction from my attorney-coach, Hugh Reed, proved invaluable throughout the duration of my studies. He kept me on track and gave me additional instruction on challenging sub-topics as needed. Put simply, just do what Hugh tells you to do, and you will be in a position to perform successfully on the Bar Exam! Thank you Hugh for helping me pass the Alabama Bar Exam!

"I used Kaplan. Mistake."

Law School: Western Michigan Cooley Law School
 Email Address: spasha04@yahoo.com

I did it! Mr Reed is the best! Initially, when I first started studying, I used Kaplan. Mistake. It was a traditional, cookie-cutter approach. It did not focus on my particular strengths and weaknesses. I needed more, so I struggled to pass. I contacted Mr. Reed and signed up for the Bronze Package. It came with weekly personalized tutoring. Mr Reed's techniques, the tutoring, and strategies are specific to each individual, and immediately I could tell the difference between Kaplan and Reed Bar Review. Priceless!

I passed the Georgia Bar Exam on the first attempt after using Reed Bar Review, but The Georgia Bar Examiners mistakenly told 90 people that they did not pass in July 2015 and February 2016, when in fact they had passed. (Citing: Wall Street Journal and Daily Report, September 6th 2016). I was one of the 90! Determined not to give up, I took another Bar Exam because of this mistake.  Mr Reed was there again to help me study and prepare. He is awesome! Months later I found out that I had actually passed the prior exam. AMAZING. I could not have done it without Mr. Reed.

Dear Hugh,

I wholeheartedly dedicate my passage on the Illinois Bar Exam to you and your amazing program.  After having failed the exam twice, I really felt as though passing it would be a near-impossible feat. The first time I took the exam I used BarBri. However, half-way through the program, I came to realize that BarBri was definitely not providing me with the resources and tools I knew I needed in order to pass that exam (and needless to say, I was correct).

Then I found out about your tutoring program.   Right off the bat, I knew working one-on-one with you was going to make all the difference. When I first started your program you told me an invaluable piece of information: that my MBE score will largely determine whether or not I pass the exam and you had taken and passed over 30 MBEs! This advice goes for everyone and I'm a firm believer that it is entirely 100% true -- the MBE is everything! Your program's strategic, pointed focus on the MBE was spot-on perfect. The tips and tools you provided me with made all the difference. I think the thing I liked the most about your program though, was that your lectures and your outlines and your other resources included ONLY the amount of information necessary to gain an understanding of the concepts but never more than that, where one could run the risk of getting lost in the overwhelming amount of material. In other words, you tell your students, point blank, what they need to know and that, among other things, is what sets your program apart from the large one-size-fits-all bar programs like Barbri where one outline book weighs on average about four pounds.

Thank you so much for all of your help and all of your encouragement, if it were not for your program, and the fact that you’ve taken and passed over 30 Multistate Bar Exams, I know I wouldn't have had any chance of passing that dang test!

I want to supply a testimonial for your company because Reed Bar Review made all the difference for me to pass the Florida bar exam on my first attempt.  Your instruction methods added much-needed structure to my studying regimen, and your printed materials are clear and succinct.  It was very helpful that your levels of coverage did not waste time and still covered all the detailed topics tested by the Examiners.  My experience with your various mnemonics was excellent - and your personal instruction made me feel at ease when the natural "bar exam fears" stuck me towards the end.  In a word, thank you Hugh .. I am so relieved you were there when I truly needed help getting back on the "bar exam horse" after 30 years practice up north.

Sincerely,

I had all the odds against me in passing the New York Bar Exam at the first time. I am a foreign trained attorney, the mom of two little girls and I have a full time job. I started my preparation with a regular course and it was overwhelming. I didn't have 10 hours a day to invest and I couldn't afford to spent those on useless topics with little practical advice. Despite my crazy schedule, Hugh gave me all the necessary tools to be ready for the exam under these circumstances. The difference between Reed Bar Review and any other bar exam out there, is that they teach you exactly what you need and how you need to apply it in the bar exam. Also, the program prepares you to take the practice exams under exam settings. For example, they give you experience tips on how to manage your time or what to do if you panic. These differences are key and are what makes this the most reliable bar review course.  I didn't have any time to waste, every minute was precious and Hugh gave me the precise material to succeed.

Professor Hugh Reed,

I want to thank you for helping me pass the July Illinois bar exam.

Throughout the process of preparing for the bar exam, your lectures and our weekly phone conversations helped keep me on track and allocate more study time to the most often tested concepts of each subject – where I could score the most points possible. The study materials were very thorough, and at the same time fairly easy to digest, particularly through the creative memorization tools used for remembering important legal concepts. Likewise, your emphasis on continuously working MBE practice questions, and taking several full real-time practice tests, really paid off during the exam. It gave me a lot of confidence going into the exam, knowing what to expect and what I needed to do to beat this exam. Lastly, I can’t forget your test-taking tips and techniques – they really came in handy.

With much appreciation and gratitude,

The Bar exam is no joke. It is not something you want to do over. Reed Bar Review helped me get it right the first time. With Reed, I felt well prepared. I was confident going into the exam as well as leaving the exam. I took two different state's exams using Reed and passed both with plenty of points to spare. Reed's method is so effective because it utilizes all of the learning styles. There are handouts/visual aids, audio lectures, and hands on sample questions. Reed made putting in the time to study so routine it was easy to stay on track, with just enough breaks in between to stay on task and keep focused. By following Reed's recommended bar prep system, and utilizing the resources available through the course, any bar taker will be confident in their ability to pass the bar on the first try.

The first time I took the bar exam I had no confidence in my ability to pass the Texas bar exam. I took a standard bar review course that offered a one size fit all approach to studying for the bar. The problem was the approach didn't fit me or my learning style.

I walked out of the exam knowing I had failed. The score report just confirmed it.

After giving me a much needed pep talk, my mentor, Eric Friedman, encouraged me to look at Reed Bar Review. Eric had used Hugh on his second attempt at the Texas bar exam with great results. His brother had earlier used Hugh to pass the Texas bar exam. Once I signed up with Hugh, Eric only had one piece of advice: "Do whatever Hugh tells you to do."

Working with Hugh my confidence soared. His approach to studying for the bar was exactly what I needed. I learn by repetition and seeing those mnemonics and reviewing my MBE questions each and every day increased my muscle memory. With Hugh I did 3 full length MBE exams. By the time I took the real thing I walked out knowing I did a lot better and was optimistic about passing. Seeing my name on that pass list was the happiest day of my life!

I would encourage every bar taker to look at Reed Bar Review and read the testimonials. They will all say the same thing: Reed Bar Review works! The knowledge Hugh has is invaluable and worth every penny. Because of his help I've achieved my dream of becoming a lawyer. I would encourage other bar takers to let Hugh help you achieve your dream.

Dear Hugh,

I want you to know that I genuinely appreciate all you have done for me, thank you. And I stand behind every word I wrote in the following review: Thanks to Reed Bar Review I was able to walk into the bar exam prepared. Reed Bar Review provided not only the knowledge required to succeed, but also the system to learn that knowledge as efficiently as possible. I would also highly recommend using the coaching sessions. The sessions give you access to an expert that can answer your questions and address any concerns that you may have about the material or the test itself. And if you are like me, the accountability to the coach will create structure and instill the discipline it takes to succeed. Without Reed Bar Review, I most likely would have been studying for the next bar, instead of getting sworn-in, like many of my friends who prepared with traditional bar reviews.

I will always remain grateful for him helping me. Hugh Reed was my mentor to help me pass the Alabama bar exam. He is truly one of a kind who regularly takes the bar exam somewhere and knows what is tested on the exam! In part, because of him, I’ve had the honor of being selected by my peers as the top matrimonial lawyer in Birmingham for the last three years.  I still remember a memory device pertaining to child support:  BIC SOAP PEN.  I use it every day as a checklist:  Best Interest of the Child; Stability of household, Opportunity for the child; Ability of parent to provide for the child; Plans of parent for the child; and Physical and Emotional Needs of the child.

Hugh,

After all of the money, time, and effort I wasted on multiple bar preparation strategies, it was the direct contact, flexible schedule, and concise materials that pushed me over the edge to pass the Texas Bar Exam. I tried multiple methods - a large bar review company (Barbri), independent studying, and finally the Reed Bar Review Silver course. I believe, if I used the Reed Bar Review course from the beginning, I would have passed without much delay or chagrin. Before taking your course, I was always unsure whether I was going to pass the Texas Bar Exam. After taking your course I passed with points to spare.

Thank you, Hugh, for not giving up on me and not letting me give up on myself.

Reed Bar Review is the best and safest way to succeed on the bar exam. After being unsuccessful on the bar exam twice while studying with BarBri, I knew that there was something I wasn't doing right. After thorough research on a new bar prep course I came across Reed Bar Review.  I came to the conclusion that investing in Colonel Hugh Reed’s  guaranteed pass program is a “must” in order to ensure a future in the legal profession. I took the Silver Package and it was more than worth the investment.  What I realized while studying with Hugh is that my legal knowledge foundation was lacking.  Law school just did not give me what I needed to pass, and neither did BarBri. Where Barbri has approximately a 73% bar passage rate, Hugh has a 98% rate (it's a no-brainer).  Hugh rebuilt my legal foundation, writing organization, and overall test taking ability.  I underestimated the bar exam and that was a big mistake on my part.  But this bar experience was a humbling experience, and I could honestly say I couldn't have done it without the training and guidance Hugh gave me, and for that I will forever be grateful. As Hugh says, your weaknesses are your opportunities!

As Hugh says, your weaknesses are opportunities!

Thank you Colonel Reed.

P.S. Not only did my MBE score increase dramatically, one of my essay answers was chosen and published by the Texas Law Examiners as an example of a well-written answer.

Dear Hugh,

Thank you so much for helping me pass the Illinois Bar Exam! As a person with test anxiety, I knew that the one-size-fits-all large group lecture approach simply would not work for me. I needed the one-on-one attention and guidance that you provided throughout the summer while I studied.

For me, the Bar Exam is not something that should ever be taken lightly, and I know that working with you gave me an edge over my Illinois peers. I was scoring incredibly well on practice MBEs and could complete essays – even the daunting Secured Transactions essays – easily because of the materials that you provided and because you explained concepts in ways that were easily understandable. Your one-on-one guidance and availability to discuss and review the material was reassuring, as I had you with me every step of the way.

I owe much of the fact that I am a licensed practicing Illinois attorney to Hugh Reed and Reed Bar Review. I would absolutely recommend Reed Bar Review to anyone studying for the Bar because that exam is not one that anyone wants to take more than once.

Thanks, Hugh!

Dear Colonel Reed,

When people ask why I selected your program it is a pretty simple answer. Reed Bar Review has demonstrated time and time again that it has the ability to help students pass the bar exam, even those who may have failed initially using one of the big name review companies that charge them a lot money. Makes you wonder how much help they are really getting for what they are paying! Most of all I chose Reed Bar Review because: I work full time, I am married, and I have three children (12, 8, 6) and was only able to study at night and take off a couple of weeks before the bar. However, you worked around that because your coaching schedule was very flexible and what I REALLY appreciated was that when we talked you would quiz me on topics that are most often tested –actual questions you’ve seen on recent bar exams that you take regularly….THANK YOU!!!

Sincerely,

I passed the Michigan Bar Exam on the first try, with points to spare — thanks to Hugh Reed and Reed Bar Review. I can guarantee that I used my time more efficiently than my colleagues using any other program.  Having Hugh as my coach kept me on track and made sure I was learning the material, not just spinning my wheels.  I  could trust Hugh's opinion on my progress as someone who has taken the exam nearly 30 times.  Frequent practice exams helped me gain the focus needed to test for eight hours. Taking the MBE was second nature because I had taken several full-length tests and hundreds of practice questions. Essay prep included studying the Michigan examiner's patterns and learning an answer structure that maximizes points.  Best of all, when my boss kept asking “How’s the studying going?” I could report with confidence that I was on track, and that I would pass the Michigan bar exam!

No one prepares you for the devastation you will feel if you do not pass the bar exam. Let’s face it, most people in law school probably have not failed at much academically in their lives. After not passing the bar exam, I seriously questioned my own intelligence and felt pretty worthless. The initial bar prep program I used gave me a free second chance to study with their program again. I did so, and again I did not pass.

After a couple of failed attempts at the Texas bar exam, I changed to Hugh’s program. When I studied with Hugh’s program, I did not study any harder than I did the previous times that I had prepared for the bar exam. Hugh teaches you to study smarter and more efficiently.

Thank you Mr. Reed for helping me finally pass.

I would recommend your program to anyone.

Dear Hugh,

Thanks to the genius of your prep course I passed the Texas Bar on my first attempt with a MBE score of 139 while passing the overall exam with 18 points to spare.

Your bar exam course immediately created an organized, disciplined, and time efficient approach to mastering the material. I started studying two and half months before the exam, 6 days a week, approximately 6 hours a day.

Per your recommendation I really focused on the MBE portion of the exam making sure I understood how each topic had been tested in the past. In total, I worked approximately 2,200 multiple choice questions in preparation for the exam. It paid off tremendously, during the exam I would read the call of the question and know exactly what the examiners were testing and any possible tricks they could present.

It was the same for the essay portion of the exam, after listening to your essay lectures and creating an outline for the past 120 essay questions there was not one surprise on the exam. I would read the essay question and get a big smile on my face because I knew exactly what the examiners were looking for in my answer.

I thank you and all your employees at ReedBarReview.com

Dear Hugh,

Wow! What a whirlwind this whole experience has been. Before I learned about your program, I felt defeated after two failed attempts at passing the Bar with Barbri. I didn't know what to do or how to proceed. My life was on hold, and I was lost. When I learned about your program and started looking into it more, I thought, why not give it a shot? Well, it worked!!! Your program did wonders for me! Your study materials made sense to me, and concepts finally clicked for the first time since I began studying for the Bar a year and a half ago. Your practice multiple choice questions were consistent, and helped me understand intricacies in the law that I struggled with before. Your essay format worked well because it structured each section so that there was no confusion for the reader. Also, being able to talk with you one-on-one when I had questions made a huge difference! At the end of the day, my score improved by 60 points!!

Yesterday, I was sworn in, and I am now working in real estate, which I absolutely love!! Thank you so much for your help. I would have never made it without you!

Dear Hugh,

You are a genius! I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for preparing me to pass the Texas Bar Exam. I wish I would have known about your program before wasting my money on a different prep course. While Barbri does a good job with presenting all of the information, their lecturers are clueless as to how it is tested. Also, a lot of Barbri’s multistate materials are outdated and irrelevant. Rather than spending ten hours a day reading volume and volumes of books, you came up with a plan to attack areas where I was weak by providing practice questions for concepts that I was struggling with. Your mnemonics and memory devices for Property and Evidence really helped me out on exam day. I will never forget the Hearsay Rule exceptions now because of your “PETS RRAP at the FARM” acronym. Also, it really helped me having an attorney coach to talk with ask questions as well as review concepts I did not understand fully. After completing your Bronze program, and taking all of the practice exams that are provided, I felt more confident going into the exam having a grasp of the big picture while also understanding all of the nuances, which are vital to a passing score on the Multistate. I will definitely recommend your course to all of my friends sitting for the bar exam in the future. It is the best investment I have ever made.

Although I had not heard of Reed Bar Review prior to my embarking on my bar preparations, I knew that MSU grads who enrolled in Reed had a pass rate of 100% for the last 10 examinations!!! I am so thankful that I took the road less travelled. I took many full practice bar exams and had more real Michigan bar exam essay questions than I could even answer. What made my preparations even more effective was the fact that I had an attorney/coach (Hugh Reed) supporting me throughout my journey. I was able call my coach as often as I needed, send him my essays so that I could review my work, and talk through my MBE answers so I could understand the process involved in answering the questions.

I cannot say enough about Reed Bar Review, but I can say that I passed the Michigan bar exam and I could not have done so without Hugh.

Hugh Reed from Reed Bar Review tutored me for last February’s Bar Exams for both New York and New Jersey; my sister also used his program and passed both exams in one sitting!  I knew that Cooley students had enjoyed a 100% pass rate using Reed for New York & New Jersey for the past 12 exams!  I started studying exactly 61 days prior to the bar exams.  Leading up to the exams, I would get anxious and nervous about the fact that I thought I didn’t begin studying early enough to fully prepare and know all the law I needed to know before taking the exam.  However, Hugh was there each and every time to let me know that we were right on track because of diagnostic testing.  This program is not designed to teach you to robotically memorize all the law; it teaches you how to execute and pass the bar exam.  I was being trained to approach every question with a plan of attack.  This allowed me to focus and develop a clear path toward passing these exams.  To have gone into these exams without this plan and without constant feedback, I would have been, like so many other test takers that did not succeed, overwhelmed by the amount of information and the limitations of time.  However, this did not happen to me because I knew what to expect and how to attack it when I spotted it.  I have never been more prepared to take an exam in my life and would recommend Hugh to anyone who wants to pass; it felt like there were over 80 questions that we practiced during the review. There is a reason this program has the highest pass rates; it’s because students of Hugh Reed are trained to pass the exam and are not trained to memorize law!

Dear Hugh,

I PASSED THE TEXAS BAR EXAM ON THE FIRST TRY!!

Thank you so much for your unwavering support and guidance; you made what seemed like an impossible task possible. The truth is that Reed Bar Review provides you with the most efficient and well thought-out materials available. Every successful student will put in the time and sacrifice, but the time you spend studying with Reed's materials is time that refine your skills for the grueling 3-day exam.

I took a total of 5 MBE practice exams during my summer of studying. I was taken a back at my preparation and confidence on day two of the bar, compared to my colleagues who prepared with the traditional bar reviews. The investment you make in Reed's bar review will truly be one of the best of your legal career. I work at a boutique bankruptcy firm and I couldn't be happier with my job or the results from my bar preparation!!

My life long dream of becoming an attorney has finally come to fruition, and I can't thank Hugh enough for his advice, preparation and professionalism.

Dear Hugh,

I wanted to thank you for helping me pass the California Bar! With a passage rate below 50%, I had some serious reservations about taking the bar exam without some help and your course was just what I needed. As a practicing attorney, I had to study for the bar nights and weekends and the flexible schedule that your program allows was a necessity for me. The program’s structure helped move from vague memories of law school classes I’d taken years ago to the proficiency necessary to pass the bar. The program’s focus also helped me prepare for the bar in a way that addressed the challenges of passing the bar and not a more generalized rehash of law school classes that other bar prep programs offer. Thanks again!

Dear Hugh,

I want to thank you for your help in passing the Texas Bar Exam!! After sitting for the Texas Bar exam twice without success I was feeling devastated and mentally drained.  I knew that Barbri was not the course for me, and that I needed to find something or someone that could help me reach my goal.  The first time that we spoke on the phone I knew that your program was different from all of the others.  You put my mind at ease with your words of encouragement and straightforward study plan and made me feel like I was your only student.  I remember when I told you I needed to figure out what my weaknesses were on this exam and you politely interrupted me and told me “these are not weaknesses, these are your opportunities, and I will teach you how to find these opportunities and use them to earn the points you need to be successful.” Thanks to you Hugh I improved my score by 61 points!!!  Your experience, knowledge and test taking tactics (especially for the MBE) make the Reed Bar Review course superior to all other bar exam prep courses.  I will be forever grateful to you for all of the help and encouragement you gave to me while preparing for the bar exam and for helping me to achieve my dream of becoming an attorney.

I know how serious and scary choosing the right bar review course is and I wouldn’t be advocating this course if I didn’t think it was effective. Hugh Reed obviously knows what he’s doing; my story is just another example.

Greetings Hugh,

After missing the mark on the Texas Bar Exam twice I realized that the “one size fits all” bar review class was not going to work for me.  Being a full-time police detective, husband, and father of two, my time to study was precious and oftentimes hindered by lack of rest.  By utilizing your system of acrostics and memory devices I similarly used while obtaining my private pilot’s license, I found your approach to attack the mountain of material better suited my familiarity, learning style and time management.  My only regret is that I wish I had used your program for the 4 ½ years I went to law school part-time at night.  Using your strategy, I was able to hone in on my more difficult subject areas which made vastly better use of my time.  I have and will continue to recommend your program to others, especially those that choose to attempt law school without the traditional day hours to attend class and study.  I could only imagine how high I could have scored on the bar exam if I was a traditional day student.  You personally helped me whenever I had any kind of question and your technical support staff is superb.  I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the joy of seeing my name on the Texas Bar Exam “Pass List”.

Sincerely,

Dearest Hugh Reed,

After seeing my name today on the Texas Bar Exam pass list, I owe you a tremendous “thanks!” Your course and personal instruction was the best decision that I made! You taught me the importance of the MBE. I will never forget your simple declaration that was all too important, “We will NEVER leave the MBE.” With that statement, you taught me how to attack the MBE with confidence through daily preparation. I kept a running chart of practice MBE questions and would make a tally each morning after doing 30-45 questions each day. When I sat for the exam, there were VERY FEW MBE questions that I have not seen in my practice with you. Most importantly, by answering small but key questions, you taught me ALL that I needed to successfully pass the challenging MBE!
I also owe you a BIG “thanks” for preparing me for the essay portion. Your essay writing instruction taught me how to organize my essays in the best possible format. By following your lead, I was able to write all 12 essays with confidence. I followed your detailed instruction, and I am sure that was the key to my success.

I am forever grateful to you, Hugh Reed.

Professor Reed's program enabled me to pass an out of state bar (Illinois) on the first attempt. The structure of the courses ensured I stayed on course and only studied the most pertinent information for the bar. This enabled me to stay focused and not get bogged down with extraneous details. Three years after passing my first bar, I sat for the Texas bar. I was extremely nervous about studying after being out of school for a few years, so I did not hesitate to sign up for the Reed Bar Review Bronze program again. Once again he delivered and I passed the Texas bar on my first attempt.

Thank you Hugh, and all your colleagues, for helping me pass two bars.

Regards,

Rebecca

Dear Hugh,

Your Program is one of the best investments I've ever made in both time and money. As a result of your encouragement, excellent materials, and extremely clever memorization techniques, I found the confidence within to take the Texas Bar a second time and pass it! If I could go back in time I never would have followed the "herd" and taken BarBri- That program is not a "good match" for an exam that requires preparation involving constant feedback and practice questions/tests/homework. The second time I took the bar, after taking your course, was a completely different experience- I could almost "hear" you in my head at times and the MBE and essays felt more like tasks I could readily handle rather than "unchartered waters." You gave me a strategy and a plan - thanks for being there!

Please let me know if there's anything I can do for you!

Most Sincerely,

"I scored an overall score of 777 - only 675 is needed to pass in Texas"

 Law School:  Texas Wesleyan University
 Email Address:  MRLarissa@aol.com
 Phone Number:  (214) 395-0562

Dear Hugh:
When the results came out for the February Texas Bar Exam I learned I passed! Thank you so much for helping me pass on my first attempt! I scored an overall score of 777 - only 675 is needed to pass in Texas – and my Multistate Bar Exam (MBE) score was 166.4, a score that is in the top 1 or 2 percent in the country! As you predicted, I had plenty of points to spare!

As you may recall, I previously prepared for an earlier Bar Exam attempt using both PMBR and BarBri. I then became ill and could not sit for that exam. When I regained my health I selected Reed Bar Review's individualized tutoring for my second attempt at preparation. What a world of difference! In fact my first diagnostic MBE with those programs, I only scored a 115.

You did a remarkable job preparing me in light of my being an unusual student. As a practicing real estate executive, my hours were less flexible. You and your staff were amazingly available - six days/week from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. In contrast, I felt like I couldn't get BarBri Texas (or PMBR for that matter) to give me any attention or concessions without having to make several attempts and consequently being "surcharged" for the service. More importantly, it appeared to me as though the other preparatory programs flooded me with volumes of irrelevant material, some of which was prepared by people who had not themselves taken the Bar exam in years or had never even taken the Multistate Bar Exam. I found this information overload to be counterproductive - too much information and not enough application. You, on the other hand, presented me with a digestible amount of material that represented mostly topics that had high probabilities of being tested. This focused approach, combined with your memorization techniques and continuous evaluation of my work product, made Bar preparation enjoyable...well...almost enjoyable. At the very least I appeared far less "stressed out" than my peers who chose the other programs. Focus is everything when it comes to the Bar exam. There is no time to waste on frivolous academic pursuits. Thank you for narrowing my focus to the task at hand and making my life much easier.

You have my permission to show this letter to others who may be shopping around for Bar preparation services. To them I would say that after spending all those years (and all that money) in law school, it would be a catastrophe to be denied a "ticket" to practice law, at the last second, because of a poor choice regarding Bar preparation programs. My choice, using the benefit of hindsight, is Reed Bar Review. I would not choose the others. Indeed, I'm using your services again to prepare for another jurisdiction's exam this time around.

P.S. I used your services again to prepare for the South Dakota bar exam. Of course, I passed!

Most Sincerely,

Bernie Schuchmann, Attorney-at-Law

Dear Hugh,

Thank you very much for your help! My scores on the Texas bar exam were an astounding 741 (you only need 675 to pass) with a 143 on the MBE, a marked improvement over last time. =) The areas you told us to concentrate on during our last few calls were exactly what I needed to know on the MBE and the essay section of the exam.My scores would probably have been higher if I had finished answering all the questions on the first day. I know, there is no excuse for not finishing... I got carried away with the topics and lost track of time.

I am very glad that I took your review class and should have taken it the first time around. It would have saved me a lot of time and money.

After 30 days with remote BarBri, I knew I would not meet my goals. I called Hugh Reed and passed the Texas Bar Exam the first time in seven weeks of study. If the Texas Bar Exam can be thought of as an obstacle course, then BarBri would teach you every conceivable way (no matter how remote) to get through the course. In contrast, Hugh teaches you the best way, saving precious time. Ask yourself how much your time and peace of mind are worth. Call Hugh now.

I used the Reed Bar Review and am thankful for making the decision to take a different avenue than my classmates.  In hindsight it was the only way to go for me personally.  I already had a job working full time which did not allow me to sit in a traditional classroom setting for long lecture after lecture (or videos for that matter).

The flexibility and particularly EFFICIENT use of time was priceless.  Reed Law Group taught me short cuts on how to remember the key components of each subject matter, helped prioritize my time since my time was limited, and provided me with an outline and a game plan for going into every type of question.

Thanks,

Dear Hugh and Reed Law Group Staff,

As you know, I came to Reed Law Group because I had to pass. You not only helped me pass Illinois but also Florida.

My job was depending on it due to relocation to Florida. Originally from Illinois, I was an out of state bar applicant who never took a Florida law school course. You were able to provide the bottom line without having me read endless outlines. I learned the nuances of Florida law that I could not been given in any other bar review course on the market. Your mnemonics are priceless when it came to taking the exam. I was able to recall everything I needed to know for the Florida Bar Exam. I would recommend this to first time and repeat takers.

Also, I cannot thank you enough for my time spent as a Tutor and Coach for your students. Transitioning from a student to a RLG Coach further assisted me in "paying forward" what you taught me! Now as Instructor in Charge of Florida's premier Legal Studies Program in St. Petersburg, I could not be where I am today without the wonderful experiences and opportunities you provided!

Many thanks,

Dr. Christy A. Powers, Esq.

Dear Professor Reed,

Thank you for providing me with the skills I needed to pass the Georgia bar! Not only did your staff present the black letter law but they also taught me the process required to pass.

Many of my colleagues took the "traditional" bar preparation courses and just attended classes when they were scheduled. Your program allowed me to follow my own schedule, study when it was best for me and consult with my coach when it was convenient. Having this flexibility was crucial for my family life and I believe it made all the difference.

Your program approach worked very well with my learning style. Instead of just memorizing black letter law, your techniques allowed me to recall specific element requirements during the bar exam. I truly believe that the additional information I was able to recall helped to improve my MBE and essay scores.

Studying for the Georgia bar was not easy, but my weekly phone consults with my attorney coach kept me on schedule and always kept me motivated!

Thank you,

Thank you so much for you wonderful Bar review program! It helped me pass the Georgia Bar with room to spare. The preparation I recieved from your course far exceeded what my classmates recieved with the big name review courses. There were so many lectures, practice questions, examples, practice tests, and your amazing staff to help. In addition to being better than the other courses, I believe its a much better value as well.

I became acquainted with Mr. Reed and his bar review program the last year of my law school matriculation at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. I was having trouble with my Business Organizations course and Mr. Reed helped me to streamline my essays so they were exactly what my instructor was looking for on my exams. After receiving an "A" in the class and seeing how effective Mr. Reed's methods were, I knew his bar review was the program for me. I started preparation in October for the February Alabama State Bar Examination. Mr. Reed and my tutor, Michelle, made sure I had all the materials I needed to ensure I successfully completed the exam. They focused on my learning style and my study habits. They calmed me down about my lack of knowledge of Alabama law since I matriculated in Michigan. I am proud to say that with their assistance not only did I pass the bar, I passed on the first attempt. I highly recommend this bar review, the individualized attention really made the difference.

I took the 1 on 1 Gold Instruction for the New York and New Jersey Bar Exam.  My hero Hugh Reed was my personal instructor.  This was my life and my livelihood so I wanted the greatest chance of passing the New York and New Jersey Bar Exam on the first try regardless of the cost.  The 1 on 1 option appealed to me because it included a 98% pass rate, unlimited scheduled instruction with Hugh Reed, extensive materials for the MBE, State Specific, Multistate Performance Exam, and Essay portions of the bar exam.  The 1 on 1 Gold Instruction provided me with personalized, performance-based training for all portions of the bar exam.  It was a wonderful experience and I passed both exams on the first try!!  I was entitled to continuous interaction with Hugh Reed and a personalized schedule, which was absolutely the most effective method for me.  Hugh gave me rigorous advice as he monitored my progress closely assuring my maximum performance on the bar exam.  I love you, Hugh!!!  I had so much study material and immediate online access 5 months in advance of my New York and New Jersey bar examinations.

At one point during my studies, I became anxious and depressed.  I couldn’t imagine passing the Bar Exams.  I spoke with Hugh about my concern and he was compassionate and caring.  He told me what I was feeling was normal but that I should follow my study schedule exactly as he set it up and to focus on my studies.  I did exactly what my counsel ordered and I couldn’t be better!  Awesome instruction, awesome material, awesome program—worth every single penny!

I am very pleased to report that I passed the bar exam for the state of Indiana in July. Your program was the key to my success for many reasons such as the mnemonics and acrostics that you taught me which proved to be extremely helpful under stressful testing conditions. Your personalized attention and the program’s materials made it easy to learn the legal concepts that are needed to pass the bar. Thanks to you, I am now a licensed attorney with my own practice in the state of Indiana.

Sincerely,

After struggling with the MA Bar Exam, I was able to use the Reed Law Group "Guaranteed Pass" program to easily pass the AZ Bar Exam.  I felt as if the Reed Law Group "Guaranteed Pass" program was tailor-made for me.  As I studied, my confidence grew daily. With the personal attention from Hugh I was not only able to pass the Bar Exam, but I passed with points to spare.  And, because of the extensive, thorough, and comprehensive nature of the program, I was relaxed throughout the 2 day exam, in stark contrast to some of the examinees I saw around me.  To this day, 2 years later, I am still so confident in the program that if I need to take another bar exam, there is no doubt in my mind that I'll pass.  All I need to do is call Hugh and the people at the Reed Law Group.

I can't tell you what a pleasure it is to be addressed as Christopher W. Caine, Esq., or to be able to put Christopher W. Caine "Attorney at Law" on my business cards.

Thank you Reed Law Group.  You made the dream come true.

Dear Hugh Reed, I just wanted to let you know that I passed the NM bar!!!! I saw my name on the February pass list and I was elated with so much joy, sense of accomplishment and relief! Your program was simply the BEST out there.

I decided to do some more research on bar preparation studies and found your program. The one-on-one tutoring seemed very promising because of the high passage rate. I was tired of being in legal purgatory and wanted a program that would be tailored to meet my specific needs. I took Barbri twice, PMBR once, and Celebration Bar Review once (which also offered tutoring).

Thank you,

"Reed Bar Review is arguably the Most Important
Legal Resource Purchase you will make as a 3L!"

Law School:  Charlotte School of Law

Law School provides contextual legal knowledge and foundational competence. Bar passage requires demonstrating command of that knowledge and competence on demand, under stress, with accuracy. Confidence hard work, good GPA's; order of the crown; summa cum whatever are demonstrations of knowledge for the law school community, NOT the Bar Graders. They are not impressed. The Bar exam requires a different set of tools. Col. Reed, through the Reed Bar Review provides the Tactical Tools, Time Management, Technique and Strategies for passing the bar with Expert Coaching.

I initially balked at the tuition, but after, failing using other programs, talking with a trusted classmate, who repeated just like me, he put price into perspective with 3 questions:

  1. If law school cost $25k a semester for 4 or 5 courses; with a GPA ranking as the reward. Why is it hard to pay a fraction of that price, for 20 topics; with a Bar Card as the reward?
  2. How much is the stress and anxiety of failing the bar going to cost?
  3. How much opportunity are you missing if you fail?

I purchased the Silver program and it felt like a bargain after I passed. I only wished I purchased it earlier.

I am very grateful to Reed Bar Review for helping me pass the Bar Exam.  Hugh Reed helped me raise my MBE score by 15 points over my prior exams.  I was like many law school graduates and signed up with Barbri my first time to take the exam.  Reed Bar Review condenses much of the material and focuses on the highly tested material that you need to absorb in order to pass the exam. Barbri’s materials included an over-abundance of information, thus making the preparation process overwhelming.  Switching to Reed Bar review was the best decision I made to help me pass the Bar Exam.

"I highly recommend Reed Bar Review"

I chose Reed Bar Review because Hugh tailored the program to allow me to prepare for the bar exam part-time while I worked full-time.  Hugh’s method is very effective because he:  (1) works with you one-on-one to target your weaknesses and provides a game plan for you to overcome these weaknesses; (2) emphasizes the importance of the MBE in UBE states (I took the exam in a UBE state) and provides MBE-specific strategies to help you ace this section of the exam; (3) provides only germane material for you to pass the exam; (4) takes the time to teach you complex or tricky concepts; and (5) responds to your questions in real-time so you can quickly move on to the next topic.

In light of these qualities, I highly recommend Reed Bar Review.

"Reed Bar Review is the preeminent choice...."

Law School:  New England School of Law

Dear Hugh,

Having graduated Magna Cum Laude from an Ivy League undergrad and with distinction from law school, I would've thought that I'd have no difficulty passing the Massachusetts bar exam. I enrolled in BarBri for the July 2015 exam, memorized tons of material, but did very little practice with actual bar questions for the MBE or actual essay questions for the state-specific portion.

Not surprising, I failed the July exam.

After digesting my failure, I knew that I couldn't repeat my previous mistakes and that I would have to take a radically different approach. I am so thankful to have discovered Reed Bar Review and to have had the privilege of working with you personally as my private tutor. Studying for the bar is a science. It takes discipline and dedication. It requires understanding of legal concepts, but more importantly requires practice, practice, practice. In order to succeed on the bar, you must first learn how to study. Wasting hours of your time doing rote memorization of random facts is not useful. You need to know the law, but you need to understand how to apply those facts to real bar questions.

Don't be a chump; do it Colonel Reed's way and I'm 99.9% sure you'll see the same success that I achieved.

There is no other bar preparation company that deserves my recommendation. Reed Bar Review is the preeminent choice.

Thank you,

Dear Hugh,

Thanks to Reed Bar Review I was able to pass the Illinois bar exam. Your program taught me what information is tested most frequently and provided me with the skills I needed to do well on the MBE.

As someone who is traditionally a poor test taker and "memorizer" your mnemonics allowed me to learn and memorize key rules of law needed to do well on essay and MBE questions. Your program was also catered to what subjects and subtopics I was having the most trouble with, which allowed me to study smarter.

I would not have passed the bar exam without your program and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bar review program outside of Barbri or other traditional bar review programs.

After failing the IL bar exam, I was absolutely devastated and knew that I had to change my study strategy the next time around. I decided that I would not be re-taking BarBri and after searching the Internet for bar exam tutors I came across Hugh Reed’s program. After our first conversation I was certain that he would be able to help me pass the bar and thankfully I was right! I chose Hugh because unlike other tutors I had spoken to that based their instruction on BarBri materials, Hugh had a distinct system and materials that were unique to his program. I found the BarBri materials to be overwhelming and eventually came to learn that they included a lot of superfluous information that had not been tested on any recent bar exams. Hugh’s materials were concise and included extremely helpful mnemonics that made memorization of tough subjects like Evidence and Contracts much easier.

I also chose Hugh because he routinely takes bar exams, so his personal knowledge about how each subject is tested is invaluable. He was able to tell me the issues that are tested most often and the issues that are never tested so I was able to spend my time learning only relevant information. Additionally, his strategy on focusing primarily on the MBE and not getting bogged down with the non-MBE essay subjects really paid off in the end. I found myself a lot less stressed and more confident on test day by applying this study strategy. One last perk of this program was that I was able to complete it while working full time. I would highly recommend Hugh Reed.

As a foreign trained attorney under a civil law system, I was different from the typical New York bar candidate. My challenge was not to review what I had studied in law school previously but to encounter much of the material for the very first time.

After researching the different options to prepare for the bar exam I concluded that my best chance at success would be with a boutique course that could adapt to my very specific needs. The best decision that I made was to study with Hugh Reed.

His course is designed to teach you the relevant material in a timely and efficient way. In addition, he teaches you excellent strategy, both for studying and for taking the test. Hugh is quick to identify what you know and what you are having difficulty with, and he addresses your doubts so that you can move on quickly and efficiently.

I believe that having a real tutor that addresses your questions and follows your progress is an enormous asset in passing the New York Bar and Hugh offers that possibility for the same price that most bar review courses offer their program without a tutor. This makes the decision to study with Hugh a much wiser investment of your time and resources.

Please do not hesitate to ask Reed Bar Review for my contact information if you have a background similar to mine, if you have questions that you feel I can address, or if you want more details about my experience studying with Hugh. I would be happy to provide you with more details.

Hugh Reed’s Bar Review Course far exceeded my expectations. Hugh is not just an experienced law professor and bar examinee, but he is also a truly great guide for reviewing bar material. All bar review programs have huge books of law intended to be a review of subjects we have already studied. However, only Hugh's program condenses those never-ending books into short lessons and mnemonics which filter out all that filler. There is no question that I would not have passed the bar exam without Hugh's guidance (and mnemonics!).

The first time I took the Bar Exam, I signed up with Barbri. I didn't pass. I was too caught up in completing the litany of assignments, reading endless books, and completing questions that often times were repeats. I was not studying efficiently. I should have listened to my older brother who told me not to take Barbri and to take Hugh Reed's Course. So, the second time I took the Bar Exam, I signed up with Hugh. I passed. My score improved by almost 70 points using Hugh. Hugh will tailor to your strengths and weaknesses and will give you what you need to succeed.

Thanks Hugh,

I passed the bar exam! Your review course actually made it surprisingly easy, I made a 154 on the MBE. I didn’t leave the bar exam thinking I had passed, I left knowing I had done great! The review materials were terrific because they really force you to narrow your study down to the issues that are actually tested on a regular basis. There were no surprise questions on the exam and I was thoroughly prepared! I highly recommend your review course to anyone preparing for the bar exam, thanks again!

The personalized attention from my coaches at Reed Law Group was invaluable.  The individual instruction by phone and email helped me feel confident that my questions and weak areas of study were addressed. Because the programs were done at my pace I could spend as much or as little time on a subject as I wanted which allowed me to focus on the subjects with which I was uncomfortable without spending valuable time on material I already knew.  I passed the California bar exam on the first time and my exam had the lowest pass rate of any exam in eight years.

I ultimately loved the course and I am not sure how I could have passed without it. I especially loved the mnemonics to help memorize different areas of law. Colonel Reed,
I took your course and I passed my bar exam, after 3 previous attempts without a course as I could not afford $3000 for the traditional bar review courses. Thank you for your affordable alternative! I believe Reed Bar Review made the difference this time ! Especially, when the pass rate in the Texas for repeaters from my law school was significantly lower this administration from 55% in July 2012 and 59% in July 2013 to 38% this time (July 2014). I would recommend your course to everyone.

After taking the Pennsylvania Bar Exam twice with BarBri and failing both times, I enrolled with Kaplan’s combination course with tutoring for my third attempt. But early on knew that I had made a mistake. I did not want to taste failure again and continued to search for the right kind of help. That’s when I found Hugh Reed, and Reed Bar Review. I opted for the Silver Program, working directly with Hugh. His targeted approach focused my studies on my areas of opportunity rather than providing a boilerplate study plan that wasn’t focused on my individual success.  The Reed Bar Review materials are full of helpful mnemonics, acrostics and checklists, and my work product was constantly reviewed on a regular basis allowing me to assess and refocus my studies on my weakest areas. Although at times I questioned my efforts and my confidence because of my past results, Hugh constantly assured me to stay the course. Hugh was right!  His methods work!  I am a licensed attorney because of Hugh and Reed Bar Review.  I only wish I had found Reed Bar Review earlier.

After failing the Missouri Bar for a third time, I had just about given up on my career as a lawyer. I was now fully aware that the big name bar prep courses were not going to help me pass this test. After taking two different courses, I was given Hugh's contact information. Within hours, Hugh had me on track to becoming a successful bar applicant. The systematic approach this bar review uses in conquering the bar exam is one of a kind. In the past, I had spent all of my time trying to learn every rule of law for every single subject tested on the bar. With Reed Bar Review, I was given an attack outline on how to learn the important topics within each subject tested. As the bar exam kept approaching, I felt more comfortable with subjects (especially the Multistate) than I ever did with the other bar prep courses. Thanks to Hugh and Reed Bar Review I am officially licensed and able to move on with my life. I recommend this entire course to any person sitting for a bar exam—the more time you spend with Hugh, the better.

I would absolutely recommend Reed Bar Review to anyone preparing for the bar. I think that the Reed materials are excellent, and working directly with a tutor is a wonderful way to stay motivated and to know you are on top of everything. I couldn’t have prepared for the bar so effectively without these mnemonics and strategies for tackling each type of essay and MBE topic.

I loved having the materials directed toward the most commonly tested issues and rules in each topic. I think that was essential in helping me prioritize study time and spend my energy on what mattered. Also, I loved having the phone meetings with Hugh because he was great about answering my questions and keeping me on track by always letting me know where I was in the context of overall studies.

Working with Hugh was a wonderful experience and made studying for the Texas bar really pleasant. I felt well-prepared, and I think Hugh is an amazing strategist for preparing for the bar, which is really the most important thing for this exam. I will definitely be recommending Reed to everyone.

Thank you for helping me pass the Illinois bar exam. Reed Bar Review’s materials were very helpful, and their accessibility through the web made studying for the bar more efficient. Most important was my tutor-coach Hugh Reed, who ensured I focus my time on the areas where I needed the most help. Your study materials made sense to me, and the concepts finally clicked since I began studying for the bar over a year ago. Your practice multiple choice questions were very helpful, and they helped me understand certain concepts I struggled with before. Your essay format worked well because it made me write in a more organized way. Your format not only made it easier for the reader to understand what I was writing, but it also helped me to apply the law more effectively. I will be sworn in on May 1st, and now I am pursuing a legal internship.

Thank you for your help. I would not have succeeded without you.

I would highly recommend your program to anybody who wants to pass the bar.

Professor Reed,

I got the good news that I passed the Illinois bar exam! Thank you so much for your help in preparation and for all of your encouragement. Your advice to focus heavily on the MBE was right on target. I worked at least 2,000 multiple choice questions before the exam and not only did I pass, but my MBE score was high enough to transfer to DC! Plus your mnemonics and acrostics helped me memorize important essay concepts quickly and recall them easily on test day. The bar exam is an endurance race and you were a great coach through it all!

Dear Col. Reed,

I wanted to take a moment to tell you how truly grateful I am for all your help with passing the Texas Bar Exam. The Silver Package, which included your constant support, is absolutely the reason I passed this time. In fact, although I only needed to increase my score by 8 points, I improved by almost 70 points.

I appreciated the one-on-one interaction with you, and although I was a little worried because it was not in person, I learned to adjust to the telephonic tutoring. You were always available whenever I needed a question answered (especially at the end, when it was the most stressful).

The aspect of the tutoring that I was most impressed with was that you were able to pinpoint where I needed the most help on the MBE, even down to the exact sub-topics in each subject. This allowed me to "study smarter, not harder." The contstant practice exams and practice questions allowed me to see the many different ways the multiple choice questions could be asked, so that there were not many surprises when it came to the actual exam questions.

Your program was an investment in my future legal career that I am so glad I made! I will tell anyone else taking the Texas Bar Exam about your program because the feeling of finally passing (especially after
failing) is priceless!

Dear Dean,

I just want to share some good news with you. I am a graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law. I passed the Texas February bar exam on my second attempt with the assistance of REED BAR REVIEW. I wanted to make sure I saw my name on the pass list this second time around.  REED BAR REVIEW  is an excellent program. Throughout my preparation, I worked on a lot of practice questions, took tests, and  practiced writing essays for the third day of the bar exam. The programs memorization techniques gave me so much confidence.  I walked into the exam with a plan and a strategy and lots and lots of confidence. If I could start over again, I would have simply signed up with REED BAR REVIEW from the start. Many Thurgood Marshall School of Law graduates take one of the traditional bar review courses and we keep seeing the same results over and over again. I believe that if more students at our school would sign up with this program, Thurgood Marshall School of Law would see its bar passage rate improve dramatically. If you have any question or want to talk to me about my experience with this program, you can call me at 956-457-7171 or email my with any questions.

PASSED!!!  I never knew that six letters, one word, could ever mean so much to me.  The day I opened the letter from the Michigan State Bar and saw that everything I worked for had paid off was one of the best days of my life.  I was not your typical law student.  I went back to school at 35 to finish my bachelor’s degree and then went on to law school.  I picked Thomas Cooley Law because they offered a weekend program and since I was working full-time as a Probation Officer, had three children at home, and the closest campus was two hours away, I really had no other choice.  It was the longest 3 ½ years of my life.  I knew that I had to pass the bar exam and I had to pass the first time.  For me, there were no other options.

When I looked at the Bar Review courses I was concerned.  Most of them required that you be there every day or if you did it online you were on your own.  I picked your program because it offered me everything that I wanted.  I could do the program from home, still work, and I was able to have a lawyer, in my case you, to coach me through.  I cannot thank you enough for all of the information that was provided.  The help, support and confidence building that you gave me in our conversations were instrumental to my success and were greatly appreciated.

You offer a wonderful program and great choices to meet anyone’s situation.  The program that I took included the iPad and I have to tell you it was the best investment I made.  Being able to have the videos and note cards and everything else with me no matter where I was at and all in one place was wonderful.

I want you to know that what you do means something.  Today I will not only be sworn in to practice law in the State of Michigan but I will also be taking an oath for the Office of Assistant Prosecutor.  I will start that job on June 4th.  What makes that possible?  Passing the bar the first time with the help of Hugh Reed!

Thank you so much,

Dear Fabulous Friends and Family! I just received word today that I PASSED the BAR!I got a 284.1 (needing at least a 270 to pass). I screamed first, then I cried, and then our whole family ran around the house while Kent played Ode to Joy on the piano!

Hugh,

Hello Hugh, this is David Chandler, I recently prepared for the Texas bar exam that was in February with you using your bronze package.  This was my second time taking the bar exam and I passed! The first time I took it I got a total score of 660 with a MBE score of 128.4.  This time, after your program, I received a total score of 717 with a MBE of 146.4.  That's 18 points!  I used to say I was terrible at MBE questions, however you made it a point to explain the importance of doing well on it.  The practice questions and follow ups have helped me accomplish a very major achievement.  Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I would like to thank everyone at Reed Bar Review and especially Hugh for personally helping me pass the bar. This was the third time I took the exam & I would not have passed had it not been for your program, streamlining the otherwise overwhelming information and for Hugh's personal determination in seeing to it that I succeed.  The program is truly tailored, keeping the only goal in mind - pass the exam.

Thank you!

Dear Hugh and Staff:

THANK YOU! I passed the Michigan Bar Exam on my first try! I signed up for your online program about five months before the exam and was so impressed with the quantity and quality of your study materials that I decided to use it as my sole study guide. I needed to study independently at my own pace in my own home, and your program—unlike many of those overpriced commercial courses— was ideal. Your study outlines, flashcards, and intensive audio and video reviews were so comprehensive and so well organized that the learning process was stress-free and almost (but not quite) painless! Your mnemonics and acrostics also helped me to improve my previously embarrassing MBE performance by almost 20 points. Thank you!

I have already recommended Reed Bar Review to many of my friends and will continue to do so.

Hugh,

I wanted to reach out to you and thank you again for the incredible bar prep experience.  I am so grateful to have passed the Illinois Bar on my first try and would like to share the wealth--so to speak.  I am working for a small firm in Jefferson Park, Illinois and I have a client who is looking to take a bar prep course.  After I shared my experience with him, I promised to send him your direction for any further information he would need about signing up for the program. Thank you again for all of your incredible help and guidance.

Dear Hugh,

It has been a week since I received the news that I passed the bar exam, and I am still in shock.  I just wanted to take some time to write you a note to say "Thank you." I know many of your students must say these two words to you, but I am eternally grateful for you and your program.   I have dreamt of being an attorney almost all of my life, and you really helped me achieve it.  Thank you for being firm, and making me work hard for this.  In the areas where I was weak, you pushed me harder.  I was never able to score high on multiple choice, but after your constant guidance, I scored a 152 on the MBE, and an overall score of 719 (we only need 675 in Texas). So again, thank you so much for your help!

Dear Hugh,

I wanted to pass the NY BAR exam the first time, therefore I approached my search for a study course carefully. I researched and obtained all the necessary information about your competitors, and then I spoke with you. I instantly decided your program would offer me the best chance at passing, primarily due to the individualized approach every student is given. As for myself, you got to know me and identified what my strengths and weaknesses are and customized a plan just for me. You've even shown support while I was going through a difficult time personally during the BAR study period. The result? I did pass the NY BAR the first time and scored higher than most. Thank you!

Dear Mr. Reed:

I was notified that I passed the February Bar Examination.  I signed up for Reed Bar Review and even though I didn't get it the first time after using your course because of work conflicts, I did it this time.  I never stopped using every bit of your coursework.  I don't know what my final score was, but I KNOW that your course made the difference!  THANK YOU for allowing me to retain my access to your website...your DVDs ROCK!!  I am PROOF that your course works for a repeat test taker (Passed on the 5th time!!) Oh and this time...I joined My Brain Trainer and perhaps that was the final piece to the puzzle.  :-)

Dear Hugh (Colonel Reed),

This new program for all U.S. veterans is amazing.  As a former Reed Bar Review  1 on 1 student, I know the program works, and would love to assist you in this bold new program.  If there is anything I can do to help the Reed Bar Review in this endeavor, please do not hesitate to contact me.  As a Navy brat growing up, I've seen the sacrifices my father made everyday and would love to help give back.

Please greet Hugh Reed,

His good counsel, consistently and sometimes abruptly given, lifted my heart – just what I needed.

After spending 20 plus years of my life in a classroom, the thought of studying for the biggest exam of my school-life in a classroom did not motivate me or intrigue me much at all.  I learned about Reed Bar Review from a classmate and loved the idea of studying for the bar exam from any location in the country!  I graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in January, and decided not to take the February bar exam.  I learned that Reed Bar Review allowed students to begin their studies from 5 months before the exam time.  That was a route I definitely wished to take.  Part of studying for the ‘beast’ is to fully understand yourself and your ways of studying and to know if you can be disciplined enough to study from home, as opposed to going to class.  I personally wanted as much time as I could take to mentally and physically prepare for the bar.  This would lead me on the path to passing the first time. Therefore, I participated in the small class tutorial and LOVED IT!!! Not once did I feel pressured, overwhelmed, or scared about the July exam that was approaching!  I even questioned my tutor, Kate, if this was normal, as I had known many other people studying for the bar who were very anxious!  Kate reassured me that this is how Hugh Reed’s program is designed and that I would be fine.  And, sure enough- I was fine!!  This past week I learned that I passed BOTH THE NEW YORK AND THE NEW JERSEY BAR EXAMS ON MY FIRST ATTEMPT!!!!  Not only does passing 2 bar exams feel wonderful, but it also makes me proud that I trusted myself to realize that I didn’t have to ‘follow’ the rest of the crowd taking the more popular bar review courses.  I found that I could study without a ‘classroom’ and trust my coach every week to guide me in the right direction.
I definitely would recommend this program to ANYONE who wants to pass the bar exam on their first attempt!

Thank you for all of your help!  I passed the Michigan bar!  The Reed Bar Review materials were instrumental in my success.  Thank you for your diligence and your commitment to my success.  Kate Milz was my instructor; I will never forget how consistent she was with me.  She was like a personal trainer.  Thank you, thank you, thank you...  If you need any thing of me please do not hesitate to contact me.  I am located in the Windsor Detroit area, and I will make myself available for you!  Also, I passed the exam without anxiety, because the materials helped me to be confident, increased my memory and my knowledge of the law.

I passed the bar exam with plenty of points to spare. The Reed Bar Review materials were excellent, and I am so glad I didn't use Barbri or PMBR. What is particularly great about the program, in my opinion, is the organization of the materials. Yes, there is a lot of information one needs to learn (and re-learn) to be successful, but Hugh Reed and his program not only provide one with the necessary materials, it is all organized in a very efficient and effective manner. Never during my studies for the bar exam did I ever feel overwhelmed; in fact, I felt quite confident.

I worked for over a year and half trying to pass the bar exam.  I watched friends and colleagues from law school pass and go onto exciting new jobs in the law.  It was frustrating beyond belief.  How could I have failed, not once but twice?  I might not have graduated at the top of my class, but I was a member of moot court and I brought back decent grades at a fine law school with first rate professors.  To top it all off, I came within two measly points of passing on the second try, so as you can imagine I was the epitome of exasperation.

Then, as I was coming out of Wyndam Hotel in Chicago, fresh from another one of those ungodly torture sessions where you go over your failed essays, and someone handed me a packet of information on this program.  To be certain, I was very skeptical at first.  After seeing my parents shell out thousands of dollars for BARBRI and Kaplan I said to myself, “Oh great, here’s another outfit selling magic beans.”  To my immense satisfaction, I soon discovered that I was wrong.  Hugh Reed and the people working for him are different than the rest.  To borrow a saying from Hugh’s first profession: the people at Reed Law Group are like generals who really do know what it’s like to fight in a fox hole.

They don’t just hand out a bunch of outlines with orders of “go read.”  The people working at this program actually do care whether you pass or fail because they make it their business to see that you do.  The two most important advantages to this program are the personal attention you receive and MBE training, at least that’s what counted for me.  The coaches and staff have taken the bar numerous times, they know what to prepare you for and how to do it.  Plus, the one-on-one coaching helps you get a sense of how you are progressing in your preparation.

I want to be clear by saying that what Reed Law Group offers is no miracle cure, no 100% sure bet.  Nothing can replace your own hard work and the determination not to get rattled on testing day.  However, it would be remiss of me not to express my satisfaction and approval of these experienced people who actually helped me to achieve my dearest goal in life.  Thank you Hugh, Kate, and all the other people of Reed Bar Review who worked so hard to help me.

Your personalized essay and MBE sessions are essential for excelling on the bar exam. Hugh and staff,

Thank you so much for all of your help with my Texas Bar preparation! Your program is second to none and was vital to my success! One of the many reasons I chose you was because those "other" prep courses DID NOT offer individualized attention. I know because I called them. Your mnemonics and acrostics truly made the difference when it came to my memorizing and recalling (under exam stress) the mass amounts of information I needed to pass. Also, your materials were organized in a way that made what seemed like the impossible, manageable. If I had it to do over again, I don't thanks to you, I would certainly choose your program hands down!

Hugh,

I would like to thank you for all of the assistance that you have given me over this past year.  Over Labor Day weekend, I found out that I passed the Arkansas bar exam.  This was my eighth attempt taking the bar exam.  I wish I knew about your one on one program a long time ago.  Its because of your course material and positive reinforcement that I passed the bar exam.  My scores increased over 80 points!!!  My MBE score alone increased from a 130 to 155.  I highly recommend your program and course materials to any student seeking to pass the bar exam.
I know that the growth and success of your company is largely dependent on having strong and capable staff members, such as yourself, and I recognize the contribution you have made to my life and bar passage.  Thank you again for your help.  Please feel free to pass my contact information along to any student that has questions regarding your program.

Dear Hugh,

I am so thrilled right now it is hard to find the words to thank you. On my fifth grueling attempt I finally passed the Texas bar. My MBE score improved by 22 points and my overall by 33 points! The mnemonics and simple outlines helped me recall the law under the pressure of the exam and your personal attention to my situation gave me the sense of confidence and self assurance that I needed to pass. I know that if I had taken Bar/Bri or PMBR yet again I would still be in the same position I was a year ago and that was not a happy time. Thanks to your program I can get on with my life as an attorney!

Hello Hugh,

I wanted to tell you thank you for all of the help that you gave me in preparing to take the Bar exam in CA. I passed the Bar and it was my first attempt, as you know. Not only that, but I had many things come up during my prep time that almost threw my studies off completely. The 1 on 1 course that you provided really did help me and I am so glad that I decided to use your approach to prepare.  I have recommended your course to all of my friends who did not pass the bar with me in February. Once again, thank you so much I was so excited when I found out that I passed and I will be forever grateful for the help you gave me.

Looking back, Reed Bar Review was AWESOME.   It worked liked magic.  I didn`t think I`d be able to remember all the mnemonics, but sure enough, on the day of the test, I remembered everything I needed to.  The exam practically wrote itself.
Hugh presented the material in a quick and easy to understand method.  Some of the questions I did in practice ended up showing up on the actual MBE.  I`m so glad I did Reed Bar Review rather than BarBri or PMBR."  Hugh is a genius, pure and simple.  So glad I took the course; it was almost enjoyable studying all of this stuff, and being able to understand everything and apply it to so many different situations.

Hugh-

I passed the New York and New Jersey bars the first time! My MBE score was 156.   I was able to bring my MBE score up by over 50 points!  I never thought I would ever score that high in a million years.   I am the WORST  test taker on the planet; yet, I was able to pass two bar exams. The combination of attorney coaching and homework assignments made taking the MBE a breeze. Reed Bar Review is the best bar preparation out there.  I would recommend this program to anyone.  Thanks for making me an attorney!

Hi Hugh,

I just found out that I passed both the NY and NJ bars on my first and only try!!! I wanted to thank you for all of your help and guidance that you provided me during this time. I truly could not have done this seemingly impossible task with out you and the rest of your staff. You were very supportive, and you always lead me in the right direction.
When I was doubting myself, which I would often do, because I am very hard on myself, you told me that I was fine, and I was ahead of schedule. Going over all of the past exams proved to be the best thing I could have ever done...You had provided us with a Trusts folder in NY with some past questions. These were not on the NY website, but I decided to do them anyway, and I did them, put them in the IROL matrix, and studied them.
Wouldn't you know that there was a trusts question on the same exact issue that was in one of these questions that many people had never seen before, but I had, and I knew exactly how to answer it.
The thousands of MBE questions that we had at our fingertips was great for me because I am not the best at multiple choice. I ended up scoring a 157.7 scaled on the MBE!!! I was very happy with that!!! I could not be more pleased, and I have you to thank!!! I will be your biggest advocate, and I have been singing the praises of this program before I even found out my results, because I felt that confident going in and when I came out of the exam. Thank you very much Hugh!!! I passed because of your great program!

Sincerely,

Thank you to everyone at Reed Bar Review!  I passed the Texas Bar exam!
Thank you Hugh for all your advice, encouragement, and help throughout the entire process.  A special thank you is also due to the staff, including Elaina Talley and attorney-coaches Laura Garneau, Michele DeLotto, Mike Fuqua.  Each helped out along the way, and without their help and advice, I wouldn't have been successful on this exam.
Everything about your approach to preparing for this exam is far superior to everything else out there.  From memorizing the helpful mnemonics for the Essays to working through Mybraintrainer.com exercises for the MBE, your approach to this exam just plain works!

To anyone who is considering which program to choose, don't make the same mistake as I did in following the crowd.  Take your time and compare what's out there.  I'm sure you'll see there's only one choice, and it's Reed Bar Review!!

Thank You to Everyone at Reed Bar Review!

There is no other bar prep course, other than Reed Bar Review!

After reviewing for the PA and NJ bar exams, taking the guided bar study option--highly recommend--and having all the tools Reed Bar Review gives one to pass the bar, anyone could have have passed any bar in their sleep.  Just follow the instructions from Reed Bar Review and you will pass the first time.  Never give up, do whatever it takes, Huah--Army!

At the PA Bar Exam; I and a few others who took Reed Bar Review, were the only ones relaxing at break time, no joke, Hugh was and is 100% right. Everyone was reading books or some type of bar prep book, while I and the other Reed Bar Review brethren were chilling out.

NOTE: THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE!

Thank you to everyone who has helped me, sent me information, and those who tutored me!  I cannot thank you enough!

Jennifer Dontos

Dear Hugh,

I just wanted to let you know that thanks to Reed Bar Review, I passed the Texas Bar exam on my first try, and I owe it all to you, your staff and my fabulous attorney-coach.

While it is a significant accomplishment to pass the bar, to me, this is monumental for a few reasons.  First, I did not attend law school in Texas so I was starting out behind the curve when I signed up for the course.  Second, I had been out of law school for a year before signing up for a review course so that "study, study, study" mode was something I had to ramp up for again.  Finally, during the review my husband's work schedule was insane and I had a four year old who needed as much attention as my bar review work.

That said, it is a true testament to how effective your program is, if someone like me, with multiple obstacles can conquer the exam the first time.  I was hours away from signing up with BarBri when your flyer came in the mail.  Your program was exactly what I needed, streamlined and to the point.  I didn't need 15 books and an endless class schedule that was sure to be sleep inducing.

And to anyone who thinks that the program is too streamlined and they may be missing something by not having 15 books and in person classes, I would tell them that is not the case at all.  I knew nothing of Texas law and with your materials was able to get everything I needed to pass the test.  The on-line practice tests were invaluable, being able to listen to lectures on my own schedule and the assigned homework really kept me on track.

Most of all, the personal attention from my attorney coach was something BarBri just can't match.  Michelle DeLotto is my hero.  She gave me a plan and made sure I kept on track.  She was my cheerleader when I needed it and my sounding board when I thought I was going to crack.  To me, it was more like having a really smart friend to help me through the review process than a teacher, because she was just so easy to work with.

I would gladly recommend your program to anyone in search of a review course and am happy to speak to anyone who may be hesitant.   You really can pass the bar without the excess BarBri provides.

Thank you so much, I could not have done it without all of you.

V. Groszko

Hugh,

My first run at the Illinois bar exam rewarded countless nights of cramming with one point short of a passing grade. It was a terrible combination: passive lecture in the morning followed by 8-10 hours of work during the day and studying 100+ page outlines written in small print at night. I set myself up for failure (and wasn't the only one!).

Your program isn't a study course but a battle plan. Your attorneys assessed my weaknesses, catalogued my strengths, and exploited things that needed to be improved upon while coaching me the entire way. Your no-BS approach relentlessly drives for measurable results based on trial and correction. Your checklists and mnemonics cut my analyzation and response time dramatically. The end of every exam session left me with a solid 25 to 30 minutes to stare at the walls and think about lunch. The feedback and coaching closed the deal for me: you can't fix something if you don't know you're doing it wrong! I made the mistake of saying "hello" to the property lecturer from that other program and was rewarded with "no questions!" for a response. I wonder if he knows he's lecturing on bad law that was actually tested on the Feb 08 exam? Good luck asking him (or any other one of those lecturers) a question.

My MBE score this round allowed me to apply to DC on motion instead of sitting for another exam and my name was just placed on the U.S. Federal Tax Court roll of attorneys. I demanded results and your program produced them. Go hard or go home! Hoorah, Hugh!

Dear Hugh,

Having failed the Texas Bar Exam three times, I must admit that I had begun to regret having gone to law school. Now that I have passed, I only regret not having enrolled in your course sooner. I raised my MBE score by 25 points and achieved 150 more overall points than I had ever scored previously. I had stubbornly returned to the Barbri course thinking that I would eventually learn enough law to pass. As it turns out, it was a waste of money and priceless time. I look back now at when your organization first sent me a brochure. Ignoring it was my worst mistake. I lost years of my life and burdened my spouse with debt and worry. For those who may read this and are skeptical about paying your fee, I would suggest they merely consider it a semester of preparation they never got in law school. I know that you have already moved on to help other students in your life’s calling, but I want you to know that I will be eternally grateful to you for what you have done for me and my family. You took a demoralized person, set him straight as to his abilities, and gave him the confidence to achieve what he thought was impossible.

Yours sincerely,

I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help and guidance throughout the study period for the February California Bar.  I was so excited to see my name on that list!  I am sure that it is because of your interactive study methods and your different methods of teaching.  Actually taking bar exams regularly, as well as your patience and belief in your students, turns out such great results.  100% pass rate for McGeorge students to date!  Keep up the good work.

Thank you again!

Dear Hugh,

What better way is there to pass you bar exam than to do it with a personal tutor?!  Hugh Reed believes in leaving no stone unturned when he embarks with you in the journey to pass the bar exam.  My scores sky-rocketed with Hugh’s personal attention.
The bar exam is the most difficult task I have ever attempted and I am so thankful that I had Hugh there to keep me challenged and to hold me accountable with all of my assignments. Hugh helped me pass the bar with “points to spare” and to master all parts of the Alabama Bar Exam!  Thanks to Reed Bar Review I was able to get a 155 on my MBE.  I would recommend this bar review to anyone that wants to be successful on their bar exam.  Their staff, products, and service are second to none and is a proven winner for myself and man of my friends from BSL.

Hugh,

Yesterday I was allowed to raise my hand in front of the Illinois Supreme Court and my family and be sworn in as an attorney and counselor at law. I owe my success on passing the bar exam to you, your staff and your program. After not passing the exam the first time around with a low Multistate Bar Exam (MBE) score it seemed that passing the bar was next to impossible. You kept telling me that not only could I pass it but that I would pass as long as I followed your program. I did everything that you told me to do and sure enough, it worked out. Every part of your program was great, allowing me to recognize and fine tune my strengths as well as recognizing my weaknesses and building them up. The memory exercises that I did on mybraintrainer.com definitely worked because I was recalling your mnemonics and acrostics as if I had known them for years. Also, never once did you allow me to burn out while studying which was a factor the first time I took the exam. I felt more prepared then ever to sit for this exam after working with you.

Thank you so much. I am recommending Reed Bar Review to everyone I know.

Hi Hugh,

Now that things have slowed down a bit and the swearing in ceremony is completed, I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for the course you developed and the time you dedicate to helping students achieve their goals. I was pretty scared when I failed the MPRE exam on the first try (studied for it on my own), but your course gave me the knowledge and confidence to pass the IL Bar Exam (and the MPRE a few days afterwards). Now the real fun is beginning (trying to land a job interview in Chicago). Thanks again for everything.

The subject program allowed me to pass the Alabama Bar Examination on the first try. I highly recommend the five month small class tutorial program for all bar applicants as a method to significantly enhance the probability of your passing the Bar. This program allows the student to thoroughly cover all topics and practice answering all types of multiple choice and essay questions that have been tested on past recent examinations. Attorney-coaches provide feedback and helpful suggestions to enhance your study and examination practice efforts. The study materials and copies of past examinations with appropriate answers are provided, and the student does not have to spend critical study time researching and organizing the documents that should be reviewed. Key legal elements are highlighted in the program by the use of mnemonic and acrostic memory aids.

My personal review for the Bar Examination required emphasis on the essay sections. The subject program allowed for this emphasis, provided attorney-coach feedback on my essays, provided suggested methods to best answer essay questions, and allowed for significant practice in answering a multitude of essay questions. Critical issues and rules of law were reviewed. I personally believe that review of just MBE multiple-choice questions and topics is not sufficient to adequately prepare for the essay examinations. An essay strategy must be included in your study program, and I highly recommend the Reed Law Group's approach.

In summary, on the day that I finished the examination, I felt that I had passed. Further, when I received the actual results, I passed on the first try by my achieving a score 10% higher than required on both the multiple-choice (MBE) and essay (MEE) sections of the Bar Examination . The Reed Bar Review's approach that I followed during the five months prior to the examination was instrumental in my results and I highly recommend their program to future Bar candidates.
Thanks again. You rock!

Thanks to Reed Bar Review's bar materials, I was successful on my bar exam. All of the materials were easy to understand and covered both state and federal laws, which made me feel prepared for whatever essays I would come up against. Many of the mnemonics helped me memorize a great deal of material in a short amount of time, and I used many of them during the essay portion of the exam, which helped me recall information quickly. Reed Bar Review's prepared answers to the MBE portion of the exam also helped me understand why I was missing certain questions and allowed me to raise my score on the MBE portion of the exam. I would recommend the materials to anyone who wants to be successful on the bar exam.

I FINALLY PASSED THE BAR!!! I would like to say thank you to Hugh Reed and the Reed Bar Review staff. You are the greatest!!

Your mnemonics truly made a difference when it came to me memorizing and managing the vast amounts of information I needed to pass. I was a one-on-one student and I can truly say that the program was tailored to fit my learning style and visual disability.

When I signed up with Reed Bar Review , I was visually impaired. But as I was studying for the exam, I lost sight in one of my eyes. Hugh and the Reed Bar Review staff made it a point to do everything they could to help me get the correct accommodations I needed to study and take the exam. Hugh encouraged me to continue on despite what was happening. He told me I could do it and I have done it!! I can honestly say that there were times when Hugh believed in me and my abilities more than I did. Hugh is a man of great character.

Just remember the word Gambaru (a Japanese word that means never give up) the next time you start to doubt yourself and your abilities.

I will tell anyone who will listen that Reed Bar Review is the way to go and that they should not waste their time or money with those other bar review courses.

Enrolling in Reed Bar Review was the best decision I could have made!!

Testimonial of Jay J. Verdugo, Thomas M. Cooley Law School graduate, First Time Illinois Bar Exam passer.

If there is no such thing as a magic formula to pass the bar exam, Reed Bar Review is the next best thing. Just thinking about all the material that has to be understood and memorized can be a daunting and seemingly insurmountable task. Reed Bar Review helps you overcome those negative thoughts by setting you out on the right path armed with the most relevant course materials. They then help you stay on that path up until exam day by steering you in the right direction when you drift off course or require clarification on a confusing area of law. I highly recommend Reed Bar Review to anyone who is serious about passing the bar on their first (and last) try.

Hugh -

Many thanks to you and the Reed Bar Review material for helping me pass the Illinois bar on the first try. Your material and study techniques helped ease my stress and allowed me to come out of the exam feeling very comfortable and confident with my efforts. With Pass Your Bar I was able to study at my own pace and didn't have to waste my time in overcrowded lecture halls to learn the material. The guided self study program was both highly organized and extremely beneficial to my success.

Dear Hugh and Reed Bar Review staff,

I finally passed the bar! I cannot say enough about you and your program. I tell anyone and everyone who will listen not to waste their time or money with other bar prep programs. I only wish that I had found you earlier (say in law school). The program is phenomenal and worth every single penny!!!! The constant reinforcement, encouragement and consideration given to me by you and your staff was what made a difference. I truly am impressed that you will work with students no matter how long it takes them to pass. And to think I passed 5 weeks after having a baby and tending to a toddler!

Thanks again. You rock!

Hey Hugh,

Well to start out with I passed the California Bar Exam. Many thanks to Reed Bar Review and all the help provided by your staff. The Reed Bar Review system of mnemonics and essay writing, made writing the essays for the California Bar a snap. At times I almost felt things were too easy but then again it’s like you said, "Can't accomplish on Sunday what you haven't prepared for all week." Sure enough I was well prepared for everything the state bar wanted to throw at me.

Thanks Again,

Dear Hugh,

After being out of law school 11 years and practicing law in Oklahoma, I decided to take the Texas Bar exam. I went with another bar review and failed the February exam. Hugh, you and Reed Bar Review helped me raise my total score 72 points and pass the July exam with flying colors while I was working full time and raising two small children! Your tutoring style and materials were fantastic; you really know what it takes to prepare for this exam. Thank you!

Dear Hugh,

I don’t even know how to thank you enough. I am finally free. I was in such despair after having failed the Multistate Bar Exam twice. After having passed the essay portion of the Florida Bar Exam on my first try, the Multistate was a huge battle. I remember wondering if it would ever happen. I decided to enroll in your one-on-one multistate tutoring program -- I increased my score by over 10 points. I received a 147 to be exact. Your program works wonders. Two weeks before the July bar exam, I was rushed to the hospital and needed emergency surgery. I thought I was definitely out of the running. I was released from the hospital 3 DAYS before the exam, and even after not being able to study for over a week and so close the administration of the exam, I listened to the extra points CD and passed with flying colors. If I can do it, you can too. Please, invest in your legal career and use Reed Bar Review. It’s the best decision you can ever make. Please have any student contact me regarding your program.

Dear Hugh and Staff,

I am forever grateful to Hugh and his staff at Reed Bar Review. I passed the Alabama bar exam after three unsuccessful attempts. The volumes and volumes of materials to prepare for the exam became manageable with Reed Bar Review. The study materials made sense on each of the subjects with great outlines and summaries on the important points. A hallmark of Reed Bar Review is the guidance in learning the needed material to pass rather than obscure information. I wish I could have started Reed Bar Review on the first day of law school. Again, thanks to Hugh and the staff for such positive reinforcement throughout the course.

What can I say, Reed Bar Review has a proven method that works! You don't have to re-invent the wheel, nor any outlines for that matter. They teach you what the bar exam tests for and how they test you on those subjects. If you put in the work and time, you will certainly not be disappointed. With their one-on-one tutoring, you get specialized help that is tailored to your weaknesses and to your schedule. The cost was worth every penny and was the best investment I made for my career!

Please have anyone and everyone who has questions about Reed Bar Review contact me. Hugh, Michelle, and the staff at Reed Bar Review helped me more than I can ever explain. Dear Hugh,

Having taken the bar 3 times without coming close to passing, my motivation as well as confidence had dwindled. I felt as if there was a huge mountain in front of me with no way of climbing it. I was desperate for help and I knew Bar/Bri was not the way to go considering I had enrolled all three times before failing each bar. I looked online and came across PassYourBar.com. After speaking with Hugh and doing a little research on my own I decided to take the plunge and go for it with Reed Bar Review. It was the best move I could have made!! Hugh's lectures, course materials, and essay format were so incredibly helpful. My score on my essays improved by almost 50% and my score on my multiple choices improved immensely as well!! I passed the Bar on the fourth try with plenty of points to spare!! I will never forget the help and motivation of Reed Bar Review. Hugh and his team truly have the formula for beating the Bar and I can't say enough of how helpful Reed Bar Review's program was.

With immense gratitude,

Dear Hugh,

Thank you so much for having such a great bar exam prep course. I passed the July Texas Bar Exam, with a lot of points to spare! The reason I failed my first attempt at the Texas bar exam was my low essay scores. I went to law school in Louisiana and knew very little about Texas State law. I was extremely discouraged until I found out about your course and purchased the self-study Texas audio course. This course helped me focus on the material that was actually going to be on the exam, instead of overwhelming me with masses of information. I found the handouts to be extremely helpful. The mnemonics, such as Farm Animals Play Cards Nightly (that was my favorite), really helped jog my memory on essay day! I had an organized plan of attack for each essay subject that I did not have before. I recommend your course highly.

Dear Hugh:

I passed!!! You and your tutors are wonderful!!! You helped me focus me on the "big points" so I could increase my MBE score. I completed all of the practice MBEs and went in averaging well above anything I had done before. My score increased by 12 points!! I was told that the MBE score "never increases more than 2 or 3 points" by a seasoned Bar/Bri lecturer. You proved him wrong. I scored 139.3 and only needed 133 to pass. You and your tutors helped me develop a masterful study program. I had followed the study program provided by Bar/Bri and PMBR but they never helped me recognize specific areas of weakness (for example in consideration for contracts). I just kept answering questions and getting them wrong. The mini-bars online and the analysis you provided for my MBE answers were superb in helping me focus my studying especially because I worked while studying for the bar. Your mnemonics and pictures were great very helpful. I could memorize quickly then master the area. The DUIMULE is implanted in my mind forever. I can't say enough and will definitely recommend you to anyone I know studying for the bar. Continue to give hope to those who are not natural born standardized test takers but are willing to work very hard.

To Prospective Bar Candidates:

I scored a 166 on the MBE with Pass Your Bar. I started with traditional bar review courses and only later found out about PassYourBar.com’s One-on-One program. By the end, I wondered to myself: why do people waste time and money with the other bar review alternatives? The best materials are the Reed Bar Review materials. I attribute my success to Hugh Reed’s audio materials, hard work, Hugh’s own copyrighted practice questions, as well as released questions by the NCBE. If you are ready to put in the necessary work, and listen to what Hugh tells you to do daily, there is no way you will fail with this program.

Reed Bar Review provides you all the artillery you need to go to war against the bar exam!

Dear Hugh and Staff,

Thanks for your help. I passed the Florida bar examination after I used your program. Your frequent contacts, memory devices, and guidance helped me do that.

I had previously taken another preparation course, but failed the examination after that course. I failed then not because of a lack of study. I was an older student, and thought that perhaps it was too late in my life to be able to pass a bar examination. Not so with your help.

Hugh,

I graduated in the bottom quarter of my law school class. Statistically, the cards were stacked against me after graduating from a school with the lowest pass rate in the state. I graduated from a California law school known for its high bar pass rates. Like everyone else, I took Bar/Bri thinking that was the sure way to pass. After taking out yet another student loan to finance my bar prep, I didn't pass. A few months later, I moved to Texas and geared up for the Texas bar, determined to do it right this time. I started getting mailings from passyourbar.com, saw the testimonials, and thought that maybe this was a fluke! But, after looking at the website, I decided to give it a try. There are many options to choose from, so I chose a program that focused on Texas essay subjects. Throughout my studying, everyone at PassYourBar was incredibly helpful (Hugh even called me personally once!). When I sat for the bar, I applied everything I learned and couldn't believe how much I actually remembered. I sincerely believe it was thanks to your program that I passed. And I didn't just pass; I had several points to spare -- no where near my California experience! If I ever move to another state, I'd know who to call for my bar prep.

Thanks,

A.L.

...if at first you don't succeed....don't despair. Your tutoring made the all the difference from the traditional bar reviews I used first. Hugh,

Thanks a million! Allowing me five months to study with you instead of trying to cram all the information in two months really helped me learn what has been tested on past California Bar Exams. Also, the flexibility of studying when I wanted to access the information 24/7 and then talking to my tutor/coach when it was convenient for me, instead of commuting to a bar review site and just taking notes, helped me tremendously with my clerkship and the ability to resolve questions I had quickly.

I passed on my first attempt!

For those of you reading this who may be skeptical, YOU MUST STRONGLY CONSIDER Reed Bar Review as your bar review course. Why not do it right the first time? You cannot afford to take your bar exam more than once, it is just too important.

I enrolled in the one-on-one course and a Reed Bar Review attorney called me three times a week to answer my questions and check my progress. This was a huge motivator for me. Reed Bar Review really cares about your performance on the bar exam. You will not be just a number. This bar review will set you up for success.

I also found the Reed Bar Review mnemonics and memory devices to be very useful for the essay portion of the exam. My study time was cut in half, compared to my colleagues. Plus with PassYourBar I knew that I was studying what would actually appear on the bar exam, not useless information. The best features for me were the MBE practice exams. I took at least 5 practice exams. I always knew what areas I was making progress in and which areas I needed to study harder in. I am grateful that there is a program like this that welcomes all learning styles. Please consider this program before you select your bar review course.

Hugh,

Thank you for the one-on-one tutorial course that helped me pass the Alabama Bar Exam. Thanks to your program I made a 140 on the MBE and a 147 on the written portion of the Alabama Bar Exam. I had taken so many simulated MBEs that the actual MBE was not a big deal. The mnemonics, checklists, and other essay training also gave me plenty of material to work with on the written portion. I left the Alabama Bar Exam knowing that I had passed. I think that anybody who wants to pass the bar exam the first time should take your bar review. Your daily guidance and direction was the key to my success.

Hugh Reed's Bar Prep course is the only preparation for the bar exam you need. I wisely invested the money for the individualized tutored course because I only wanted to do this once! Unlike other courses, I was able to start mid-March for the July bar exam, followed the instructions, turned in my work product for continuous assessment, and passed the bar exam – all while working full-time and finishing law school. The method is clear, concise, and tailored to the bar exam – no surprises! I passed the first time because I was prepared; you can do the same.

Yes, I passed the Texas Bar Exam!!!!!!!

Reed Bar Review and the one-on-one tutorials with Hugh Reed were the key to my success. I was able to study and prepare for the exam in my own home at my own pace. Hugh's one-on-one instruction was so helpful, he was able to help me with weak area's and then reinforce the material later to make sure I was clear.

Taking simulated MBEs under timed conditions several times before the actual exam took the anxiety out of the real MBE on the bar exam. The essay preparation was awesome. I wished I would have known the method Hugh teaches while I was in law school!

Overall, it was by far the best investment I made. Now, I can reap the benefits of all the hard work.

Hugh -- THANKS A MILLION!!!

Once again, I want to thank you for your exceptional program and your ability to have created what should be regarded as the highest ranking bar exam study course available. I could not have improved my score (an overall total of 87 points) by having repeated the BAR/BRI study course or with PMBR.

When I saw my name on the pass list Wednesday, I could not even speak (and the ability to speak is not something lawyers lack) I was so elated that I can now move on to my practice. I am opening my own firm on Ocean Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas --It couldn't get any better. I am still floating from the excitement. But I owe it all to you and your program. I can't imagine anyone studying for the bar without your course. As a matter of fact, a friend of mine who was unsuccessful with BAR/BRI was contemplating trying BAR/BRI again. I convinced her to take your course and told her I was so confident she would pass that I would send her the referral fee that you sent me and did. SHE PASSED!!!!!

My son-in-law is a future law school candidate and I am paying his fee to take your course, not only for law school tutoring but for the bar exam as well. I have spoken to other people about your bar exam prep course and they have either signed up or are preparing to do so. I am forever a fan of Reed Bar Review!!!!!!

Hugh,

I passed the Texas bar yesterday!!! I have to thank you for all of your guidance throughout this process.

At first I was skeptical about the program because it was not one of the "name brand" bar reviews. However, you were above and beyond what I imagined. Your one-on-one tutoring was amazing.

I took BAR/BRI and found that they gave too much information and expected you to cram it in your brain within two months--not realistic. As for PMBR, I thought that was a waste of time; end of story. Your mnemonics and acrostics are the way to go. If anyone reading this doubts Hugh's methods, become a believer because I was in your shoes once. Now, I just passed the bar and I owe it to Hugh.

Hugh,

I want to thank you for everything you did to prepare me for the February bar exam.

Handwriting the issues and rules, memorizing the mnemonics, and participating in the interactive Q&A conference calls during the 2 weeks leading up to the exam were a lot of work, but had me squared away for the Alabama essays and the MEE. I stuck to your writing format and did well on content and time.

Our work for the MBE: studying only what is tested, targeting my weaknesses, polishing my strengths (what few there were), and practicing under testing conditions really helped; It was an efficient and effective method of studying.

The weekly individual calls kept my feet to the fire while still allowing me to set my own schedule.

Having bored you with all of the above, I wanted you to know that it resulted in a composite score of 155 including a scaled score of 168 on the MBE. There's no way I could have done it without your help.

Thanks so much!

Dear Hugh,

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I came to Pass Your Bar because I had to pass. My job was depending on it. I was an out of state bar applicant who never took a Florida law school course. You were able to provide the bottom line without having me read endless outlines. I learned the nuances of Florida law that I was not given in any other bar review course on the market. Your mnemonics are priceless when it came to taking the exam. I was able to recall everything I needed to know for the Florida exam. I wish that I had taken this course the first time I took the exam. I would recommend this to first time and repeat takers.

Thanks again!!

Dear Hugh,

I had failed the Kentucky bar exam three times and was ready to give up when I found out about Reed Bar Review. I had taken all the bar review courses they tell you about in law school and was obviously not pleased with the results.

I enrolled in the One-on-One session and got started. I spoke with you, Hugh, every day, worked countless questions that you assigned to me based on my performance, and listened to the CDs you provided me. I learned what areas were tested most and what areas to avoid. Everyone that had ever passed the bar told me that "it would all come together and you'll understand the law." It had never "came together for me" until I took this class. You told me exactly what to do based on my performance.

This time, I went into the bar exam with confidence and a feeling of being prepared. I saw plenty of questions I could handle easily based on your training, used the tactics I was taught in your course, and did not get discouraged in the middle of the exam. When I finished it was the first time that I had left with a feeling that I had a chance of passing. That feeling became a reality when I saw my results.

Take it from someone who has taken the other exam prep courses, this is the way to go! You don't have to wait for your second, third, fourth or even fifth time attempting to pass -- let Hugh help you pass the first time!

Thank you for letting me get on with my life.

Dear Hugh,

I want to thank you for creating an outstanding bar review program! I finally passed the bar after sitting for it eight times using other traditional bar review programs; you name them, I took them. While other bar review programs wasted time trying to cover obscure areas of law, your program covers just the materials that are commonly and repeatedly tested. In fact, because of your individual attention, I discovered for the first time in my life that I was suffering from a sleeping disorder -- you sent me to a specialist after recognizing my inability to focus on assigned tasks. That alone was worth the tuition for one-on-one tutoring!

To All Prospective Reed Bar Review Students: Hugh will focus your studying like a laser beam to your problem areas. This is the key to studying for the bar exam. You will not waste time with subject areas that you are already comfortable with. If you are working a full time job and trying to studying for the exam, Hugh will definitely work with you on your schedule. I highly recommend his approach to studying for the Multistate Bar Exam and the essay part. I am convinced that if it were not for Hugh's guided program and materials I would not have passed.

Thanks again Hugh,

Dear Hugh,

Thank you so much for your excellent one-on-one tutoring. I just found out that I passed the Texas bar examination on my 1st attempt with plenty of points to spare! As you know, I could not afford to fail. I signed up for your one-on-one tutoring, BAR/BRI, and PMBR. While I attended a few BAR/BRI classes and reviewed some PMBR materials, it was your one-on-one tutoring and constant feedback that got me through the bar exam. After graduating from Harvard, and becoming a busy medical doctor, I decided to go to night law school to become a lawyer as well. Even though I had to practice medicine during the day in addition to studying for the bar at night, it was your tutoring and coaching in the evenings that prepared me for the Texas bar exam.

Thanks again,

Dear Hugh,

Thank you so much for the opportunity to participate in your program. Your techniques made the material manageable rather than overwhelming. After four unsuccessful attempts to pass the Texas Bar Exam, it was PassYourBar.com that made the difference. I am excited to say that I am a Reed Bar Review success story, and I would recommend Reed Bar Review to anyone preparing to take the Bar Exam.

Hi Hugh,

Just wanted to write and thank you so much for the program you have created.

After four unsuccessful attempts, I can tell you that your program made a huge difference in giving me focus on what I need to study. You make studying for the bar manageable without feeling overwhelmed at all. Most importantly, you still confidence in the students which is half the battle. By taking your course, I have passed the Michigan Bar and the Texas Bar. As a matter of fact my MBE score in Texas was 163!!!!!!

Thank you once again for all your assistance and I am a TRUE believer in your program. I would be happy to speak to any students that may be interested in the program.

Dear Hugh,

My part-time unaccredited law school has one of the lowest bar passage ratings in the United States. PYB’s coaching and method helped me pass the Alabama State Bar on my first try with plenty of points to spare. Thank you for everything you did and I will certainly recommend Reed Bar Review to any candidates I meet.

Take it easy,

Dear Hugh,

I want to thank you personally for your excellent materials and flashcards. I passed the Florida Bar with flying colors! Your materials and flashcards were extremely helpful and helped me improve my MBE score by 10 points. I had compared your materials with PMBR and BAR/BRI and your materials were the best; for example, BAR/BRI (perhaps one can call it negligence) was silent on larceny merging into robbery. No indication of such merger! You can see the Conviser materials.

Keep up the good work!

Best regards,

JR, Attorney-at-Law

Dear Hugh,

I wanted you to be one of the first people to know that I passed the Florida Bar Exam. As you know, my background was in Spanish Civil Law, so I practically learned American Common Law with your guidance. For me, this experience has been like studying an LLM in Comparative Law with the perks of practicing law in the United States. My sincere gratitude goes to you and your staff for a job well done.

This is just a quick note of thanks to you and your team. I “smoked” the NM bar exam and will be sworn in this coming Monday. I received a 149 on the MBE.

Dear Hugh,

I just passed the Texas Bar Exam with your help. My final score was 723; I increased my score by 140 points!!! Can you believe it?! I owe this all to you; I did everything you said to do and it worked! It's nothing short of a miracle. Let me know if you want me to talk to your next group; I want to tell them how your tactics work where the others don't.

Thank you.

Dear Mr. Reed,

I took PMBR, BAR/BRI, and MicroMash (I met their pass guarantee, which isn't easy) and did not pass the bar the first time. The second time around I studied your materials and increased my score by about 70 points. Another friend that I told about your program, increased their score by about 50 points the second time and passed as well. Other friends had like results.

Your program makes sense, is concise, and tells it like it is. It gave me the tools I needed to pass. In law school, I was a member of the legal honors fraternity, Phi Delta Phi, I abjured a couple of classes and received an award from the faculty for being the most outstanding female graduate of my graduating class. Passing the bar is not about grades or your knowledge of the law so much as it is about form, strategy, and organization. You can "know" the law and still do poorly on the bar exam. You gave me the tools I needed and taught me how to use them efficiently and effectively. I felt like I was taking an invisible tool box into the exam that I opened up anytime I needed to utilize it. It was empowering.

One of my friends who did well with your materials and passed the second time around (he didn't have your materials the first time because he wouldn't listen to me and thought BAR/BRI was all he needed) summed it up in two words, "Hugh Rocks!"

I highly recommend your program to all the students at STCL and discourage all the other law schools from using your program because I want South Texas' bar pass rates to knock the others out of the ball park!!!!

Thank you again for such a great program.

Dear Mr. Reed,

I just found at last weekend that I passed the Georgia Bar Exam. After I failed the Georgia Bar exam the first time, I decided to try your 3 and 6 day-Audio course, which was the best decision I made in a long time! Your course helped me improve my MBE score by 23 points! The other courses tell you that you will do fine and pass but that is not always true. Your interactive course was practical and reasonable. The mnemonics, exam tips, CD lectures, and practice exams were very helpful! Thanks for offering such an excellent course!

Dear Hugh,

The plain truth is every word written is absolutely accurate. Thank you for giving me the tools to become a licensed attorney in Michigan. I have taken almost every bar review course including BAR/BRI, The Study Group, and MicroMash. None of these courses prepared me as fully and completely as Reed Bar Review. Your unique approach to the essay and Multistate sections of the bar exam is unsurpassed. Having been out of law school (Detroit College of Law) for more than ten years, I thought my chances for success were slim to none. With the personalized attention, helpful mnemonics and a sure fire essay approach I passed with points to spare.

Thanks again for a truly exemplary program.

Dear Potential Attorney,

I just received the news that I passed the Texas bar. I raised my score by 70 points! After failing the July Bar, I thought all was hopeless. I immediately contacted and began working with Hugh Reed. His no nonsense approach to the exam was just what I needed. His study kits allowed me to focus on what was tested. The first time I relied on the advice of other bar reviewers and tried to learn the entire body of law. It was an unsuccessful waste of time. Hugh taught me to study the exam. This strategy put me way above the passing mark. I couldn't have done this without Hugh and his guidance. Stop hesitating and sign up for Reed Bar Review. It is the best thing money can buy!

Thank you Hugh!

Good morning Mr. Reed. I would like to thank you for your course and materials. After failing the bar three times, I decided to use your services instead of the "other" large course I had used the three previous exams. Your course is designed to pass the bar and answer all the questions...except for the one my father asked me after finding out I had passed... "Why didn't you go to Hugh Reed the first time son?". I am pleased to say that I passed the exam with points to spare and will be getting sworn in later this afternoon.

Thank you

I normally would not want to publicize the fact that I failed the Texas bar exam numerous times, but now that I have passed I am so relieved and feel the need to share my news and let everyone know the easy way to pass the bar.

I never thought that I would use the word "easy" and "bar exam" in the same sentence, but Hugh Reed really makes it much easier than anyone else out there.

I used and PAID for every service out there including BAR/BRI, PMBR, MicroMash four times and it was not until my final attempt with Hugh that I was able to finish this chapter in my life. Using Hugh's one-on-one tutoring program is the way to do it. I was able to work full time and still study without that horrible feeling of being overwhelmed.

Don't make the same mistakes I did by carrying around 500 pound books and still never quite understanding what was going to be on that horrible exam!!!

Good luck to all of you!!

Hello Reed Bar Review Staff,
I just wanted to let Hugh know and to give him my thanks because I finally passed the Illinois bar exam!!! Dear Hugh,

I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you and your program. As you know, I finally passed the Texas Bar Exam and I have no reservation in saying that it was your individual tutorial that made the difference. Your rigorous study schedule, your availability to your students and your focus on the "technical" aspects of the test as well as the substantive information was invaluable. For any prospective students out there, pondering the most effective road to tackling this overwhelming challenge, let me say, you have found the road and your guide. Hugh and his staff put themselves on the line for you and if you hold up your end of the bargain, by following the recommended schedule, they will more than hold up their end of it. If only everyone knew about this choice before taking some other review course! My eternal gratitude to you and your staff for helping me to achieve my goal.

IL, Attorney and Counselor-at-Law

Dear Hugh,

As you know, I passed the Virginia bar on my first attempt.. The Reed system appealed to me because it was possible to interact with you and have questions answered directly. While my interactions with BAR/BRI are limited, my experience has been that they typically rely on videotaped presentations, and, when there are actually live presenters, questions are not allowed during the presentations. The result is that if you have a specific question, you are relegated to standing in line with 20-30 other students after class hoping to get a minute of the instructor's time.

The Reed system provides its students with concise outlines, helpful mnemonics and extensive samples of ACTUAL previous essay questions. These resources enabled me to face the exam with confidence (including topics I did not study in law school).

Thanks for your help in preparing me for the exam.

Dear Bar Candidate,

If you are reading this it is probably because you have been unsuccessful on the bar exam or you need to pass the first time. People may have the heart, drive, perseverance and determination, however, sometimes something is missing that could have pushed them over the top and could have been the difference between success and failure.

My life was on hold for two years trying to pass with other bar reviews. Then, after three attempts and finally finding PassYourBar.com, I passed the Texas Bar. People ask me, time and again, whether PassYourBar.com and Hugh Reed helped and whether his fee was worth it. I passed didn't I? I owe a lot to Hugh Reed. Now, I can get my life in order and show all those who were skeptics, how good an attorney I will be. However, there is one caveat: do not waste your time and money or his if you are not ready to put in the time and effort. Results talk, everything else walks. Other testimonials and PassYourBar.com statistics are proof that Hugh Reed produces results.

I passed the New Mexico bar exam. There is no way that I could have achieved this objective without your bar review, and your personal encouragement and feedback. James Peterson

Dear Hugh/Prospective Reed Bar Review Student,

just got my MBE results and my scaled score was a 141! After sitting several times for the Multistate, studying like crazy with other bar reviews, and not being successful, I am sure that the reason I passed was Hugh Reed and PassYourBar.com.

The secret was that Hugh Reed demanded one thing from me: follow his schedule everyday. Although I worked hard, I never felt overwhelmed by big outlines or had to learn esoteric concepts of law. Hugh and his program helped me focus on what was on the Bar Exam only! Plus, Hugh helped me pinpoint my weaknesses and build my learning to the point that I felt confident while studying.

Moreover, Hugh designed an approach that combined actual test questions, great, easy to follow lectures on tape, and prepared study materials and memory devices that made the law easy to remember. Finally, Hugh was so helpful in coaching my on study methods, stress reduction, etc., so that I was able to check into my hotel the night before the Bar and relax before the exam.

Hugh, I want to thank you personally for all of your support, encouragement and for this wonderful program. Thank you for helping me believe in myself and my own abilities. You have truly made a difference in my life.

Sincerely,

James Peterson

Dear Hugh,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I am writing to you, having just passed last July's Texas Bar Exam! As you are aware, I was down to my fifth and final attempt at the Texas Bar, having taken both BAR/BRI and PMBR (multiple times!) without success.

Your small-group tutorial, coupled with your one-on-one "no nonsense" approach, was a different story altogether! Through your detailed group telephone conferences, realistic MBE diagnostics, and our one-on-one discussions, you helped me to recognize my weaknesses. Then, with your on-point compendium of frequently tested essay areas and your regular evaluations of my submitted practice work, I began to understand how to turn those weaknesses into opportunities to earn points!

Perhaps most of all, I am grateful for the sensible, organized approach you taught me for answering the Texas Essays. I was able to answer all questions thoroughly and efficiently, with no wasted time, and for the first time ever, I actually left the exam room with confidence!

Hugh, your help and guidance made the difference for me, and I can finally get on with my life…as an attorney! Thank you so much!

Sincerely,

Maria De Luna

Hello Hugh,

I took your course this past Summer. I am proud to say that I passed my Texas Bar Exam and am so relieved! I improved by 71 points [total score of 735!!!!] My MBE score was 146 which is an 11 point jump from my previous score.

I spoke with an acquaintance of mine from San Antonio/St. Mary's Law School who was unsuccessful on the July bar exam. He was so excited for me that when I told him all about your course and my score he has decided to sign up for your course.

I must say that I was surprised with my high score because aside from my test anxiety which caused me to see the text blurred off and on during the 3 agonizing days I came to find out 4 weeks ago that I have adult attention deficit disorder [distractibility]. This meant that I had taken my bar exams before while undiagnosed for adult ADD! Had it not been for your test taking strategies and your immediate guidance and consultation, I don't think that I would have passed under those conditions. Thanks a million!!!

Respectfully & thankfully,

Mr. Reed,

THANK YOU! I took BAR/BRI and PMBR, but I still was not 100% confident before I took last July's Texas Bar. After ordering and listening to your 3-day crash course for Texas; I thought I was set. I was right! I passed the Texas Bar Exam with almost 100 points to spare on the first try. Your materials were excellent, your mnemonics, checklists, and memory devices made cramming simple, and the package as a whole boosted my confidence through the roof! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

If there is anything I can do for you please do not hesitate to ask me. Your 3-day crash course got me way across the finish line.

THANKS AGAIN!

Kindest regards,

Hugh Reed's course taught me how to pass the Bar, period! I had made two attempts and felt like I was on the fringes of a career change. I had dog-eared the pages of other bar review courses (BAR/BRI and PMBR) but felt like there was just too much information to keep track of. I needed structure and a strategy.

Through Hugh's tapes, lectures, and one-on-one discussions, I was able to read, write and, most of all, present what the bar examiners expect. Now, I'm confident enough to make further attempts as I will be sitting for another state's bar soon. This is the best course money can buy; believe it!

Dear Hugh,

Thank you so much. I passed the Virginia Bar Exam. This was my fifth attempt so I really needed to pass. Previously I used BAR/BRI, PMBR, MicroMash and Study Group to no avail. The Reed Bar Review one-on-one tutorial was so interactive and strategically comprehensive, I overcame and dominated the exam.

The 6-day and 3-day MBE tutorials were very powerful. The 6-day review was unique with instant analysis. The 3-day review had issues and tips that were directly on point on my bar exam. The Multistate Bar Exam was actually easy to me. I found only one or two questions difficult and nothing caught me off guard. It was great!

Your mnemonics, checklists, and essay training were right on point. You gave me the tools to quickly analyze questions and answer them. I analyzed and wrote a thorough answer for one question within 15 minutes.

Having a visual disability, Reed Bar Review's wide variety of material and testing techniques gave me the tools that best suited my needs. The teleconference classes were great--no time wasted commuting. The extensive collection of audiotapes was great. The emailed MBE questions allowed me to increase the font to suit my visual disability.

I thank God for finding you. I will never have to sit for the Virginia Bar Exam again.

Dear Hugh,

I can't tell you how much your small-class tutorials helped me pass the Alabama Bar Exam. Like everyone else, I took BAR/BRI and PMBR and was unsuccessful...until I heard about you. Your mnemonics, checklists, and clear guidance made the difference for me.

Thank you. Now I can finally start my life practicing law.

Hello Hugh,

I just wanted to thank you and tell you that using your tutoring helped me PASS the Alabama bar exam! Can you believe it! The pass rate for July was a grand 18% and since I started taking the exam here, it was never over 35%. I will tell you the Multistate materials of yours WERE the difference. My Multistate score was always pretty high (ranging from 130 to 145) but my 148 this time was the key to passing.

Also, your MBE and Alabama study guides are unbelievable. During the exam, I was offered $300 for the study guide. I had 6 people offer to buy my book; I could not believe it. They were all stunned at how detailed it was but also how quick it was to read (It takes around 5 to 10 minutes per subject).

Have a good day and I will talk with you later.

Thanks again Hugh, YOU and your course MADE the difference!

Have a nice day

Dear Hugh,

Thank you for helping me pass the Illinois bar exam. I could not have done it with out your help!! The previous bar exam that I took last July I missed passing by 33 points. I tried all the other bar exam courses and was never even close to passing. I found that their materials and techniques for passing the bar were outdated. What your course did for me was break down the material into a simple form, by giving great legal definitions and examples. The most helpful part of the course was the MBE test tactics because they directed me to the right answer choice and kept me away from the sucker choices. These tactics increased my MBE score by 20 points.

I also think that your essay writing tactics helped me achieve a higher score on the Illinois and MEE essays by teaching me how to lay out my essays in simple way so that bar graders would give me the points I deserved. One of the main reasons why the course is successful is due to fact that you care about your students and want them to pass. I did not get that same feeling from the other bar prep courses. I know that my alma mater, The John Marshall Law School, is having trouble with their bar pass rate. I think that your course would help a lot of the John Marshall students pass the bar exam. I would recommend your course to any person that is having trouble passing the bar or any first time taker.

Thank you once again for all your help and God Bless You!!

Sincerely,

Mr. Reed,

Thank you! I just passed the July Texas Bar Exam on the first try with 45 points to spare. While I also took PMBR and BAR/BRI, I kept getting lost in the "trees" of details. In the middle of my bar exam preparation efforts, I ordered your Texas 3-day crash course. Your mnemonics and quick checklists helped me to stay focused on the overall forest. In addition, your methods gave me huge boost of confidence.

I think you are exactly right when you draw an analogy between taking a bar exam and crash landing an airplane. In such a situation, you have very little time to think under such intense pressure. By having mnemonics and quick checklists in the front of your mind, you are able to react almost automatically and come to a safe landing. Your Texas 3-day crash course is a lifesaver and I highly recommend it for those taking the Texas Bar Exam.

Sincerely,

Thank you...I finally passed the Texas bar on my fifth and last attempt. As a graduate of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, many of my classmates and I took the bar several times. We all had taken BAR/BRI, many had taken BAR/BRI's MicroMash, most of us had taken PMBR. Most were unsuccessful with that approach. Finally your one-on-one tutoring made the difference. I passed the Texas bar on my last attempt with plenty of points to spare.

Dear Hugh,

I wish I had called you sooner...I found out about your success rate from someone who used your services for his fifth and last time taking the Texas Bar Exam. I had taken the Texas Bar Exam three times before finally passing it on my fourth attempt with your help. I honestly believe your interactive approach and helpful individualized focus on candidates' weaknesses is the key. If more candidates knew about you and, more importantly, used your services, there would be less unsuccessful examinees.

Dear Hugh,

Hope all is well in Chicago! Just wanted to let you know that I passed the Texas bar exam with a scaled MBE score of 136 on my last attempt! As you know, I have struggled with the bar in the past. Thanks to you and your materials I was successful on February's Texas exam and will be sworn in next week.

I previously used BAR/BRI and PMBR but was unsuccessful each time. I can honestly tell you, your individualized approach and unique strategies were far superior than any approach I had used before.

Thanks again for all of your help! I can now move on with my life!

Dear Mr. Reed,

I took your 3-day Texas "crash" course for the Feb Texas Bar. I had already passed the bar in Illinois and wanted a quick overview course of Multistate and Texas Law because of my work schedule (I run a division for a company). I did not want to enroll in BAR/BRI or PMBR because their courses are too long and they have too much material to review.

Thanks to you I scored a 160 score on the MBE and passed the Texas bar exam with points to spare. The Multistate and Texas information was on-point, concise, and great. The overall experience was absolutely incredible and I would recommend this course to every Texas examinee for a final tune-up for the Texas Bar Exam. If you ever need any help in Texas or to use me as a reference, call me anytime.

Thanks and sincerely,

Dear Hugh,

Thanks to your program, I passed the Illinois Bar Exam after two prior unsuccessful tries preparing with BAR/BRI, BAR/BRI's MicroMash, and PMBR. Your program boiled the bar exam down to its bare essentials and made it easy to focus and concentrate on what is important to capture maximum points. I would strongly recommend this program over the other commercial bar reviews that I tried. Hugh Reed's system is especially valuable to busy, working professionals that need to maximize productivity and concentrate their study time so the same mistakes aren't repeated again.

Thanks Hugh.

Winning the lottery requires luck. Passing your bar requires a competitive edge. This course provides the inside knowledge on how to study effectively, what you need to know to pass your exam, the issues most likely to be tested (by jurisdiction), and ways to remember key information that can make the difference in receiving those crucial last points to success. Hugh Reed is a first rate instructor who uses humor, actual knowledge from past bar exams and clever mnemonics to explain the tougher facets of the law. His outlines and course material are organized and calculated to bring you the law you need to know in a way you can understand. Do you want to be a lawyer? Then start thinking like one RIGHT NOW. Put down your lucky charm and pick up this course today. Increase your odds and pass your bar!

Dear Hugh,

I passed!! I just want to thank you for all of your help. As you know I was a 2nd time taker in Illinois and was fearful of failing again. I had taken all of the commercial bar review courses and nothing had really sunken in. I felt like I was trying to cram every fact about every single subject into a 2 or 3 month time period. Impossible! Then I found your program. What a difference. Instead of studying a plethora of things that have never in the history of the bar exam been tested, you focused me in on the subjects and specific areas of the subjects that were sure to be there. Instead of wasting my study time with useless information (and by useless I mean for purposes of the bar exam) I spent my time on things tested regularly. This for me was the most valuable part of your course. Further, I truly appreciate that at anytime I could pick up the phone and ask you a question (another problem I had with that "other bar review course") or just freak out a little. Thank you so much again! I would recommend this course to anyone taking the bar.

Sincerely,

Everyone has their little obstacles in life, and mine was the Bar exam. I had excelled in law school, but the Bar was a mountain I could not climb. I had taken all of the other prep courses, memorized their outlines and answered hundreds of their model questions, but when the Bar came around, I always felt lost. More often than not I was confronted with questions that I had no idea how to answer. The result was that I guessed my way through most of the exam and left the room with that sinking feeling of failure. I dreaded the days leading up to the posting of the results because I knew that I most likely was not going to be on the "Pass List."

But all of that changed after using Hugh's methods. Forget about wasting an entire day in a conference room listening to some instructor bore you to tears with every little detail of the subject matter being discussed. Instead, Hugh schedules short conference calls for each topic. In less than 90 minutes, he clearly explains all that you need to know for that particular subject. Not only that, but Hugh teaches you how to answer the questions. He helps you determine your weaknesses and then schedules personal one-on-one calls to help you understand those troublesome areas. The materials he provides you with are easy to follow and he will always send more if you need them. The short outlines are invaluable. I was able to fully prepare despite the fact that I was handling a heavy workload at the office. I was also able to still spend a reasonable amount of quality time with my family. When the Bar came around, I was ready. Halfway through the exam I knew that I had passed. When I walked out of the exam after the final day, I was very confident that I had knocked the cover off of the ball. I was so sure that I had passed that I didn't even bother searching the state supreme court's website for the posting of the "Pass List." It was very anti-climactic when it became official that I had passed because I knew I had passed the day I walked out of the exam. I know that my recollections sound very corny, but it is all true. I cannot say enough about Hugh's course. If you do what he tells you to do and study responsibly, there is no reason that you will not pass the Bar. Then you can finally get on with your life.

Dear Hugh,

Words cannot express the joy I felt upon learning of my success, which I attribute 100% to the methods that provided in your course. On my first attempt I missed the MBE by 7 points, and the essay section by 12 points. I did everything BAR/BRI and PMBR suggested but still fell short to my dismay. Anybody that's failed a Bar exam knows how devastating the experience is and to be honest it was the most stressful experience of my life. I found your course on the Internet and opted for the small group study program. The day the course began I came down with pneumonia! I resigned myself to the fact that I'd be taking the exam for yet a 3rd time. I was certain that I would fail. Using the simple but profound methods offered in your course I passed with flying colors, and I owe it all to you and your fabulous course!

Thanks again.

This is not just another bar review course that hits obscure parts of the law you've never heard of and convinces you that you must have attended the wrong law school (been there, done that.)
The Reed Bar Review course gives you
     The Law
The Whole Law in a Nutshell
And Nothing But The Law -- (no sidebars or Pavlov dog stories)
that you need to pass the bar. (Been there, done that, too! Finally!)

My recent experience with the Texas Bar Exam was not a fun one. However, it was made more bearable and more importantly, more successful with the help of Hugh Reed. I was so overwhelmed by the amount of material provided by the other bar reviews. Hugh's bar exam material narrows the focus and makes what seems to be a mountain of information reasonable to get a handle on for the exam. His encouragement and personal attention to my individual needs enabled me to stay focused and succeed. Hugh's program is carefully crafted to meet the individual needs of each examinee.

Thanks Hugh Reed and Reed Bar Review!

The results were just released. I PASSED! As you know, I took BAR/BRI's MicroMash the first time and it was COMPLETELY unhelpful. It was like swimming in a sea of information. I also studied with PMBR questions--all I could remember was Pavlov's dog!

Then I found out about your course for the Texas bar exam. Almost EVERYTHING you said would be on the bar was there--seriously. Your course rocked! Plus, I really only studied about a month in advance. I have a child and a full time job and am really busy. The way you condensed things was great. As soon as I shake off this hangover, I'll call you and thank you personally.

--P.S. My overall score increased by 53 points (from a 658 to a 711)!

Dear Mr. Reed,

I'm still floating on cloud 9 right now and I intend to continue celebrating for the next couple of weeks this unbelievable achievement of passing the tough California Bar Exams. It's definitely a dream come true.

I took the bar more than 5 times but only used Reed's materials on the last exam. I actually heard about Reed's from a guy who passed the bar who said that his Multistate raw score went up by 20 points !!! Since my raw scores were always in the high 120's to the low 130's every time I took the exam using BAR/BRI and PMBR, I said that I had nothing to lose by trying Reed's. I also knew that in order to pass; I needed a raw score of at least 140. When I received the Reed Bar Review materials, I knew that they were more concise and much better than any I had used before.. I subsequently scored a raw score of 138, my highest score yet using Reed's for the first time.

During the actual Multistate Exam, I knew that I was nailing those questions and that there was no doubt in my mind that I scored in the 140's or even in the 150's scaled score (MBE scores are not released in California if you pass) or at least, enough points to carry my written portion score to give me a final passing grade.

So that's it !!! My Reed's experience and no more bar to worry about.

Thank you so much. There is definitely light at the end of the tunnel Your course was the light!

Yours very sincerely,

Ruperto Domingo, Esq.

Hugh,

I not only believe, I know that it was your small-class tutorial course that gave me that extra boost to pass the bar. On my fourth attempt at the Texas bar exam my score skyrocketed to a "716" with a "151" MBE score! Your unique interactive methods just seemed to make everything fall into place.

Thank you for helping me achieve my goals!

Dear Hugh,

As you know I took everything that was offered, even private tutoring by a law professor in Dallas. For some reason, traditional methods of review simply left me a few points shy of passing. I never expected to be in the position of facing the Texas Bar Exam for my fifth and last attempt. I had tried many of the ordinary bar review courses before I decided to call , Inc. and use your services of one-on-one tutoring. In retrospect, I wish I had called you much earlier. I passed the bar and my score improved by almost 100 points--plenty of points to spare.

Thanks again.

Dear Hugh,

I thought that I would let you know the good news about the last bar exam! I PASSED with Reed Bar Review after preparing unsuccessfully on my first attempt with BAR/BRI, PMBR, and MLER. Everyone else who I've talked to using Reed Bar Review also passed!!! In order to have passed I had to go up a minimum of 25 points from the first time I took the bar! Reed Bar Review Multistate Bar Reviews small-class tutorials and one-on-one tutoring are OUTSTANDING!!!

Dear Hugh,

As a graduating law student I could not imagine the nightmares ahead. While for some the challenge is finding a job, for me the most difficult part was passing the bar exam. This proved to be an almost impossible task! After taking the exam numerous times and preparing with PMBR, BAR/BRI and BAR/BRI's MicroMash, I was still not licensed and kept falling far short. I discovered on the Nova Southeastern Website and figured I had nothing to lose and no other courses left to take. The experience proved not only to be promising, but FINALLY SUCCESSFUL! I AM NOW LICENSED AND CAN POSITIVELY SAY THAT I WOULD NOT BE WITHOUT YOUR COURSE. The ONE-ON-ONE tutoring sessions were extremely helpful...you helped me understand many things that were not apparent NOR TAUGHT IN ANY OTHER COURSE BEFORE I USED YOUR MATERIALS. Your unique interactive way of teaching for the exam, the checklists, mnemonics, and your explanations/analysis of the questions were unparalleled. I cannot stress enough how grateful I am to have taken your course. I PASSED THE EXAM AND WALKED OUT WITH CONFIDENCE. When you said "results are guaranteed" you really meant it. Thank you again and hopefully this letter will inspire others, whether taking the exam for the first, second or third time, to take your course...

ALL THE BEST.

Thanks.

After taking BAR/BRI and its HBJ Multistate Program. I was so panic-stricken that I signed up for PMBR because I still didn't feel I knew what was being tested. When Reed Bar Review Multistate information arrived, I took it too -- Reed Bar Review was superior, told me what to expect in specificity, and taught me how to pass the Multistate Exam!

In Georgia approximately 10% of the students from non-ABA accredited schools pass the bar. Four of my classmates and I took your course and WE ALL PASSED! Every candidate for the MBE ought to know that if they take your course they will score so high on the MBE that they can sleep through the essay exam.

Unfortunately I was unsuccessful the first time after studying with BAR/BRI & PMBR materials. Now I know why...I found out later that several PMBR lectureres failed their first bar exam and many are not even law professors. And, some BAR/BRI professors have never taken the Multistate Exam, much less passed one. I took Reed Bar Review and passed with flying colors.

Thank you very much.

Thanks for all your help! I was more confident than a number of my friends and classmates who took PMBR...my friends said the [PMBR] lecturer was 'hilarious.' I believe the practical and up-front approach given by Reed Bar Review was much more helpful than any 'comedian' at PMBR. Thanks for offering the home-study option. By the way, your price was comparable to HBJ's and PMBR's and I received much more materials. Thank you once again!
